Further, neither the final certificate nor thefinal payment, nor any provision of thecontract document shall relieve the Contractorof the responsibility for faulty materials andworkmanship. lt shall, moreover, remedy anydefects thereof, and for any damages causedto other works resulting therefrom, within aperiod of one (1) year after the acceptance ofworks. The DBP shall give notice of anydefect/s found with reasonable promptness. lfthe CONTRACrOR refuses or falls to completethe Project wlthln the speclfied time plus anytime extension duly granted, the CONTRACIORshall pay DBP, by way of liquidated damages,the amount equivalent to one tenth of onepercent (1/10 of 1%) of the total contract pricefor each lapsed calendar day of delay until theProject is completed and accepted or takenover by the DBP as stated ln the Revlsed IRR
