Hiluxs strength lies in a rock-solid ladder chassis and its Toyota

Outstanding Performance (TOP) platform. Common to 4WD and 2WD

models, this is rigid and incredibly strong. Its the foundation for Hiluxs

resistant body.

High clearance and a robust suspension make light work of riverbeds,

dunes and streams. On slippery surfaces, a Limited Slip Differential

(LSD) varies the torque output between the rear wheels.

When conditions change, Automatic Disconnecting Differential (ADD)

enables easy, in-motion switching between 4WD and 2WD, with 2WD

offering greater fuel efficiency and reduced noise.

available with 2WD or 4WD; the 3.0 litre alternative is matched with 4WD and a choice of
