screwdriver (*1), detach the 2claws and remove the front No. 1assist grip plug RH.

d. Remove No. 1 Assist Grip.• Remove the 2 bolts.

• Detach the 2 claws and removethe No. 1 assist grip.

e. Remove the Front PillarGarnish RH.• Detach the clip and 3 guides and

remove the front pillar garnish RH.

Assembly RH.• Put protective tape (*1) around the

door scuff plate assembly RH.

• Using a protective tape wrappedscrewdriver, detach the 4 clips, 10claws and 2 guides to remove thedoor scuff plate assembly RH.

g. Remove Cowl Side TrimBoard RH.

• Remove the clip.

• Detach the clip and claw and removethe cowl side trim board RH.

h. Remove No. 2 InstrumentPanel Cluster Finish PanelGarnish.• Open the instrument cluster finish

panel lid.

• Put protective tape (*1) aroundthe No. 2 instrument cluster finishpanel garnish.

• Grip the No. 2 instrument clusterfinish panel garnish and pull itdiagonally upward toward the rearto detach the 5 clips and removethe No. 2 instrument cluster finishpanel garnish.

k. Remove Lower InstrumentCover LH.• Put protective tape (*1) around

the lower instrument cover LH.

• Using a protective tape (*1)wrapped screwdriver, detachthe 4 claws and remove thelower instrument cover LH.

j. Remove Front No. 2 ConsoleBox Insert.• Detach the 2 clips and guide to

remove the front No. 2 consolebox insert.

i. Remove No. 2 InstrumentPanel Under Cover Sub-Assembly.• Detach the 3 clips and 2 guides to

remove the No. 2 instrument panelunder cover sub-assembly.

n. Remove Instrument PanelBox Door Cover.

HINT: Use the same procedure for all 3 instrument panel box door covers.

• Using a protective tape wrappedscrewdriver (*1), detach the 2claws and 2 guides and remove theinstrument panel box door cover.

m. Wrap the Airbag in a Blanketor the like and place it on topof a box.

CAUTION: Prevent stress on the Airbag Harness.

l. Remove Lower No. 2Instrument Panel AirbagAssembly.• Remove the 3 bolts.

• Detach the 8 claws and removethe instrument panel airbag.

CAUTION: Do not disconnect the Vehicle’s Connector.

o. Remove Lower InstrumentPanel Sub-Assembly.• Remove the 3 screws and 2 bolts.

• Detach the 10 clips and guide.

• Disconnect each connector andremove the lower instrument panel

b. Measure the Wire Channel to45mm length and cut to sizeas shown.

c. Insert the Dash Camera Wireinto the Wire Channel, theninsert the Wire Channel intothe Dash Camera as shown.

d. Tighten the screw makingsure the Camera angleindicator is pointing at the 3rdand Half Mark as shown.

e. Install the Dash Camera’sprotective cap.

2. DashCameraInstallationa. Cut the Foam Tape into

2 pieces of (30x80mm) and2 pieces of (63x80mm) sized.

g. Measure 95mm to the right ofthe Rear View Mirror channeland mark it with Maskingtape.

h. Measure 40mm from theedge of the headliner andmark it with Masking tape.

i. Use Glass Cleaner to cleanthe inside Windshield of theindicated mounting location.

j. Start routing Dash CameraWire between the Headlinerand the Roof and insert theWire Channel end into theHeadliner.

NOTE:Be careful not to damage the Headliner.

NOTE:To achieve maximum bond strength of adhesive, the attachment surface temperature must be at 60°F or higher.k. Attach the Dash Camera on

the Windshield as shown.• Peel the protective backing off

the Dash Camera

n. Route the Dash Camera wirealong the vehicle harness,then secure using 2 vehicleharness clips and 2 Wire Ties(#1, #2).

NOTE:Do not secure Dash Camera wire to the Curtain Side Air Bag or pass wire across the Curtain Side Airbag.

NOTE:Do not secure to the vehicle drain tube if equipped.

o. Route the Dash Camera wirethrough the IP opening andsecure using 2 Wire Ties (#3,#4) as shown.

NOTE:Do not secure to the vehicle drain tube if equipped.

3. WireHarnessInstallation.a. Cut the FH protection sheet

into one 25x200mm sized pieceand one 25x100mm sized pieceas shown.

b. Wrap the Wire Harness GroundWire starting from the GroundTerminal using the 25x200mmpiece and 25x100mm pieceof FH protection sheet with a10mm overlap in between, andsecure it with electrical tape.

e. Secure both the Dash Camerawire and Ground wire to thevehicle harness with 1 Wire Tie(#5).

c. Route the Wire HarnessGround Wire behind thereinforcement, locate “G1”Ground attachment upper rightside of the Glove box area andremove the Bolt.

d. Place the Wire HarnessGround Terminal on top ofvehicle ground terminal andreinstall the Bolt.

Torque: 75 in•lbf (8.5 N•m).

f. Secure both the Dash Camerawire and Ground wire to thevehicle harness with 1 Wire Tie(#6) as shown.

NOTE: Ensure the vehicle harness is protected by vinyl tape in the area where the Wire Tie is secured.

g. Place the Vehicle Wire in theSplicing Connector housing.

h. Fold the Splicing ConnectorHousing along the pleat line.

i. Pinch the Splicing Connector’shousing together until a click sound can be heard twice.

NOTE: Carefully remove the connector retainer to gain access to the Harness Wires.k. Install the Wire Harness

with the Red Wire SplicingConnector to the WHITE wireon Pin# 39 of Connector FN1(64P, White).

l. Install the Wire Harnesswith the Yellow Wire SplicingConnector to the BLUE wireon Pin# 40 of Connector FN1(64P, White).

j. Disconnect Connector FN1(64P, White) located in theCowl Side RH.

NOTE: Some Vehicles may have two 64P White Connectors pres-ent. Make sure you disconnect the correct one as shown.

TIP: After unlocking the connec-tor retainer, pull out the bottom of the connector before the top.

p. Wrap the 2 Wire HarnessFuse using 2 (63x80mm)pieces of Foam tape.

q. Bundle the 2 Wire HarnessFuses using electrical tape tobe one part.

r. Secure the Fuses to thevehicle connector box using1 Wire Tie (#7). Route theWire Tie through a hole inthe vehicle connector box asshown.

s. Connect the Dash CameraBlue Connector to the WireHarness Blue Connector.

t. Bundle up the excess wireharness and secure withelectrical tape.

u. Secure the vehicle harnessusing 3 Wire Ties (#8, #9, #10)as shown.

NOTE: The Wire Tie #10 shall be on the black electrical tape on the vehicle harness.

m. Wrap the Splicing connectorsusing 2 (30x80mm) pieces ofFoam tape.

n. Re attach the connectorretainer.

o. Reconnect Connector FN1 tothe Cowl Side RH.

n. Position the Negative BatteryCable at the original factoryposition and torque the nut.

Torque:48in•lbf(5.4N•m)

CAUTION: Do not touch thepositive terminal with any toolwhen replacing the cable.

o. Clean up and remove trash.

p. Insert the micro SD card into theDash Camera.

q. Perform the calibration: Whileholding down the Action button,turn the Ignition to ON position.

r. Keep holding down the Actionbutton until you hear a doublehigh-tone short beep to sound.If the buzzer does not sound,perform the calibration again.

s. If ERR Light is ON, take vehicleoutside and park in open space.

t. Turn ignition OFF, wait for 1-2minutes, turn ignition ON.

u. If ERR light is still ON, repeatstep t. ERR light will turn offwhen GPS signal is acquired.

Make sure a double high-tone short beep was heard. If not, perform the calibration again.

□ After Calibration is done, check that ERR light turns OFF.

If ERR light stays ON:

1. Take the vehicle outside and park in open space.2. Turn the ignition OFF, wait 1-2 minutes, turn ignition ON.

If ERR light is still ON, repeat above step 2. ERR light will turn off when GPS signal is acquired.
