Mechanical Quality Control Engineer in Al- Shalawi International Co. Saudi Arabia from JULY 2012- Till Date

To ensure that quality control plans as per contractors/clients expectation are followed reli-giously.

Implementation of Quality management systems, plans, procedures, project standards and spe-cifications.

Review Sub contractors WPS & PQR, Inspection test plans and Procedures. Inspection of various types of Pipes and Fittings used for Infrastructure Development. Installation of pumps and all mechanical fittings in sewer lift/pump station. Identify problems, pose plausible solutions and implement those solutions to achieve objectives

of the project. Plan and coordinate quality control activities and conduct sessions to explain to workers the im-

portance of following national/international quality norms/rule/regulations. Review and approve documentation reports, contractor audits and other official reports to keep

as final records. Traceability of materials with respect to mill certificate for the receiving material like pipes,

plates, flanges, elbows, motors, pumps etc.

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer-Intern (HEAVY WATER PLANT MANUGURU)-MAY2011-APRIL 2012

Bi-thermal Hydrogen Sulphide-Water (H2S-H20) Exchange Process with a capacity of 185 Metric Tons per Year. The captive power plant consist of 3 pulverized coal fired boilers and 3 nos. of extraction condens-ing turbines each capable of supplying 30 MW power and the required process steam at 32 and 8 atm. pressure. The main plant consists of two streams; each designed to produce 92.5 MT/Y of nuclear grade heavy water and the processes namely isotopic exchange reaction between H2S and H2O followed by vacuum distillation

Coordinating with Process Control and Analytical for Quality Control of raw materials & products

Regular inspection and shutdown maintenance of cooling towers (exchange units) Installation & Inspection of bulky and heavy heat exchangers (shell & tube type) Mechanical inspection of boiler, turbines and heat exchanger tubes and fins.
