you cannot truly visit Ireland without a visit tothe legendary GiantsCauseway! Volcanicactivity helped FinnMcCool forge thiswonder of the worldsome 60 millionyears ago. The 6km ofsheer cliffs rising toover 90m and forminga series of bays arespectacular.

We visit the 37,000 basaltcolumns whose tops form“stepping stones” leadingfrom the cliff foot anddisappearing under the sea. They reappear in the islandof Straffe, hence the legend that this was a road built bythe giant Finn McCool to enable him to cross over toScotland. Truly an amazing wonder of our world.

We visit the beautiful Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge.Traditionally fishermen erected the bridge to the Carrick-a-Rede island over 23m deep 20m wide chasm tocheck their salmon nets. Today we visit for its sheerbeauty and splendour (£4-5 to cross).

We stop for beautiful views of Rathlin Island (inhabited)and take time to enjoy thesights of Dunluce Castle, afamous medieval fort.

We now visit Derry, Europe'sfinest example of a walledcity. It is the only city thatnever saw its walls breached.We shall inspire you with itshistory and visit the politicalmurals in the bogside. Sceneof the 1972 Blood SundayMassacre.

Consider crossing the famous Carrick-a-rederope bridge and then hear the legends of Celtic Warriors atthe magnificent Giants Causeway - a UNESCO WorldHeritage Site and one of the natural wonders of the world, atrue geological masterpiece. We have a lovely photo stop atDunluce Castle as we travel through Bushmills and theawesome Glens of Antrim. Then to historic Derry (known asLondonderry to Ulster's Unionist community). Stroll the citywalls (1613AD) and learn of the Bloody Sunday tragedy(1972). An action packed touring day which returns to Dublinfor 8PM approx.

DAy 2After a hearty breakfast we cross the most scenic Cork andKerry mountains to the world famous Blarney Castle, whereyou can go up the battlements and consider kissing the legendary Blarney Stone and gain the 'gift of the gab' for 7years. Free time to explore the tax-free shopping mecca ofthe Blarney Woolen Mills and craft shops. Then its a longway to Tipperary before we get toThe Rock ofDunamase, anoutstanding celticfortificationsteeped in storiesof Strongbow andhis love Aoife. Return 6pm.

We complete our day with awalking tour of the Walls of Derry and visit the memorialsand murals from the troubled times. (Bloody Sunday)

DAy 2We depart Derry for the rugged Giants Causeway coastline.We have a lovely photo stop at Dunluce Castle (Strongfort1200’s) as we pass Bushmills.
