The Sanctuary of Fátima

Fatima is very famous because of religion.

On May 13TH, 1917, there was the first apparition of “Nossa Senhora do Rosário (Our Lady of the Rosary or Our Lady of Fátima)”, who appeared to 3 children who were there, Lúcia, Jacinta and Francisco. After this, Our Lady of the Rosary appeared more than 5 times over 5 months (13th of June, 13th of July, 13th of August, 13th of September and 13th of October).

Because of this, Fátima has a sanctuary that is visited by millions of people every year.

The Tourism:

Tourism is good for the country because it promotes the culture and brings profits to the country.

On the other hand, it is bad because there are more people in the street, more traffic and more pollution.
