Tour, France
Tour is the center of an urban unit which listed 307,054 inhabitants in 2008. Tour is categorized as
Ville d'Art et d'Histoire (City of Art and History), crossed by the river Loire, which has been
classified as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO and has received the grand prize
of national blooming (2000, 2003 and 2006).

Geography
The city lies on the land that separates the rivers Loire and Cher, upstream of these two rivers, a point where the path seems now comfortable. It extends north to the plateau of St. Symforiou where the highest part of the city and to the south the plateau of Gkranmon.

Education
Education is compulsory in France from the age of 6-16 , but the vast majority of children start school well before the minimum age , often as young as two years old, and over 50 % of 18-21 France is still in full -time education , or else following a vocational training course . 64% of all schoolchildren in France completed their secondary education , and to take the high- baccalaureate certificate , known as a baccalaureate or baccalaureate professionnel. The official target - as necessary for the needs of the nation - is 80 % .

Sports
The national sport is cycling. They, like almost everyone else in the world, playing Football Association. They also play rugby football and tennis. Horse racing (especially traveling) is widespread, as other equestrian sports. This does not mean that the less popular sports like tennis, table tennis and volleyball is not played
