Tour to junaghad and gir forest

Day 1

It was from 21 feb morning 6 am we departed from semcom to Rajkot. On the way we had our breakfast

around 11am then we reached our first company visit which was at JYOTI LTD. We had a nice

experience and we gained a lot of knowledge about this company, it even has its own R&D dept. after

that we went for our lunch at 2 where we were served with a punjabi thali, then we departed to

junaghad where we reached around 6pm and checked in at hotel harmony. We got freshened up anwe

went for our dinner at 8. There was no dining room in the hotel so we were made to eat our dinner at a

under construction room at the same place. The whole hotel was booked for us, as there were less

rooms, though the interior of the hotel was awesome. After the dinner we had a discussion on the

company we visited and the next days schedulewas also discussed.

Day 2

The next day we had our wake up call around 6 am, and we had our breakfast between 7-7.30 and werushed into the bus to head off to ambuja cement ltd. On the way due to some unavoidable situations

our trip had to be cancelled and was rescheduled to the next day morning. So then we proceeded to

veraval port, we had a great time enjoying the sea view, though it was stinking due to the dead fishes.

After that we reached at the hotel at 2, had our lunch and were given leisure time to enjoy the local site

seeing by ourselves. At around 8 everyone was called back to the dinner place for dinner and had the

same discussion as the previous day after dinner. Then everyone gathered around at the reception as

there was no other place at the hotel where all guys and girls could gather and enjoy together. Around

10 we were strictly ordered to go to our rooms. (BT NO ONE WAS!!!! :P)

Day 3

Again the wakeup call at 6am and breakfast at 7, this day was really hectic as we were supposed to visit

2 companies in the same day itself. We visited the Indian rayon ltd. Which is a fabric manufacturing unit

and then went for a gujarati thali lunch after which we visited ambuja cement. Then after the visit our

faculties decided to go directly to gir since there was lack time but many students demanded to visit the

famous somnath temple even if we reach late. So finally we visited somnath for half an hour. The temple

was very beautiful. We reached gir around 8 and checked into our rooms. We were given some time to

freshen up and then we were called for dinner. After which our class councellors discussed about the

companies we visited.

Day 4

Next day we went for a safari at gir it was a very good experience and we enjoyed the safari. In the night

a local tribal dance was arranged for us. After which we had our dinner and ice cream and we also

danced with the tribal people and also did garba and atlast we had the camp fire where we played and

enjoyed very much.

Day 5

This was the last day of our tour and checked out of our hotel at around 10 am and then on the way we

visited a local zoo where we enjoyed at finally left for vallabh vidyanagar. It was a very long journey and

spent our time in the bus itself. We reached vallabh vidyanagar around 7pm.

It was indeed at very great experience for all of us.
