• All vehicles must stop at the main gate, pick up the phone and confirm their arrival with security officers.

• All vehicles must stop to check in at the security office once allowed access at the main gate.

• Parking will be directed by the security officer.

• All tour group members and vehicles must stop and check out with security officers upon leaving Rawhide.

• All persons, vehicles and baggage are subject to search at any time.

Security and safety standards at Rawhide must be followed. Failure to do so may result in your group being escorted off-site at any time.

NOT allowed:• Photographs inside the plant• Purses, fanny packs or backpacks• Firearms (unless a law enforcement officer)

Please dress appropriately. Rawhide is anoperating power plant and, as such, members of tour groups can get dirty during the tour. Shirts and sturdy shoes are required. No shorts, skirts or open-toe shoes are allowed for your safety.

Hard hats and safety glasses will be provided and required. Hearing protection will also be provided.

The tour route is designed for access under ADA requirements. Handicapped parking and handicapped-accessible restrooms are available.

Platte River Power Authority’s

Rawhide Energy Station

• Rawhide tours are by reservation only.

• Minimum number of people per tour is five. Maximum number of people per tour is 50.

• Tours may be scheduled for Monday through Thursday, with times between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.

• Tours start on time and take approxi-mately 1-1/2 hours. If you arrive late, your tour time may be shortened.

• Tour members must be at least 10-years-old or in the 5th grade.

• There must be one adult for every 15 school-age children.

• You are responsible for following security and safety requirements listed in this brochure.

• Platte River reserves the right to cancel tours at any time.
