Tous les deux ans, Toulouse devient un haut-lieu de rencontres scientifiques en oncologie. La Toulouse Onco Week est organisée autour de la Journée Mondiale contre le Cancer et a pour particularité de réunir tous les acteurs de la lutte contre la maladie : chercheurs, cliniciens, industriels, tissu associatif et grand public.

Les plus grands experts internationaux se retrouveront à nouveau en février 2020 lors d’un symposium scientifique qui a été, au cours des deux dernières éditions, le théâtre d’annonces très fortes en matière d’avancées thérapeutiques. La résistance aux traitements, enjeu majeur de santé publique, sera au cœur de la troisième édition. La TOW est aussi l’opportunité des rendez-vous BtoB, des manifestations caritatives et des conférences à l’attention du grand public : un événement unique, qui lors de l’édition 2018 a accueilli plus de 2 000 personnes.

Every two years, Toulouse becomes a hotspot for scientific meeting in oncology. Toulouse Onco Week is organized around World Cancer Day. Its distinctive feature is to bring together all the actors in the fight against cancer: researchers, clinicians, companies, associations and the general public. International outstanding experts will meet again in February 2020 at a scientific symposium which has been the scene of very strong announcements about therapeutic breakthroughs over the last two editions. Resistance to cancer treatments, a major public health issue, will be at the heart of the TOW third edition. TOW also means BtoB meetings, charity events and conferences for the general public: a unique event, attended by more than 2 000 people in 2018.

Comité d’organisation / Organizing Committee

L’IUCT est un maillage régional de compétences qui permet de renforcer la qualité des soins en privilégiant les meilleurs soins possibles au plus près du domicile du patient. Plus précisément, il contribue à améliorer la prise en charge des patients en termes de respect des filières et du parcours de soins et ainsi que d’accessibilité aux plateaux techniques. Les membres du GIP IUCT sont : Centre hospitalier universitaire de Toulouse, Institut Claudius Regaud, Université Toulouse III - Paul Sabatier, Institut national de la santé et de la recherche médicale (Inserm), Toulouse Métropole, GCS de cancérologie publique de Midi-Pyrénées, GCS de cancérologie privée de Midi-Pyrénées, Oncomip, le Pôle Cancer Bio Santé, Fondation Toulouse Cancer Santé, La Ligue contre le cancer, Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS), Établissement français du sang (EFS).
