All teachers came on 5th December except for teachers from Spain who arrived on Saturday 3th December 2016. The guest teachers were accompanied to the

hotel, which had already been booked for them in the center of Krakow, called Yarden hotel. The students from Czech had been arranged to be accommodated in families that had been carefully selected by the school staff. The families had been well prepared and informed in detail about the requirements of the accommodation. They were warmly welcomed at the bus station in Kraków by the host families.

The next day 6th December 2016, 18 teachers from 7 European countries: the Czech Republic, along with four students, Greece, Spain, Portugal, Turkey,

Latvia and Romania visited Primary School in Sosnowice. It was a great event for the students, teachers and all local authorities.

The ceremony began with a warm welcome by the Polish project coordinator Mrs Marta Wolińska while Ms Elżbieta Kosek headmistress welcomed guests from the Municipal Office in Brzeźnica . All guests were invited to see Nativity Play performed by the students of our school.

After the performance, the school visited Santa Claus

who gave gifts for both children and adults, who agreed that they were very polite throughout the year, so they deserve gifts After that Mrs. Rosalia Verges who had brought to Poland the EUdoll gave it to Polish representative Ms. Marta Wolińska and she put red beads on the doll’s neck.

The project’s mascot will stay in Sosnowice until Easter and students will write in its travel diary, everything she experiences during her stay. Poland will send Eudoll before Easter to Portugal so that the last country- Portugal- will have the opportunity to spend at least 2 month with EUdoll

On the second day of the visit, upon arrival at the school, the students as a guide showed the quest teachers every corner of the school. They visited all the classes and the students gave gifts they made for them. Mrs Mariana from Greece distributed letters from Greek students from Primary School in Katerini to which our students will respond willingly.

After that the coordinators and the other teachers began work on the project. Polish Coordinator Marta Wolińska, presented the calendar for the years 2017/2018, which was made in the framework of the project assignment. Then they discussed further tasks of the project, scheduled for 2017: evaluation questionnaire, recording songs in the partner country, organizing a Day of Erasmus through the eTwinning portal. It was also agreed the date of the last visit in Portugal. It will take place on 21-25.05.2017r in the town of Braga.

During the meeting the Romanian representative Ms. Madalina Romanosky, presented dictionaries they had to fill in with common words. She would have to make the necessary corrections and send them back to all the partners to be checked. After that she would have the obligation to prepare the dictionary which would be sent to all partners by post. Spanish Coordinator presented the fairy tales book consisting of 16 illustrated fairy tales written both in English and in the partners’, native language. Because the tales that had been sent to her were too long we decided to make them shorter. Turkish should send the pictures in PDF and the tales in Word. After that Polish coordinator showed the questionnaires using the projector. Just to remind everyone that the questionnaires are going to be carried out in January 2017. The results will be provided as a chart and brief report and then presented by Turkey in Portugal. After the meeting, all participant got certificate of attendance.

Our guests got acquainted with the culture and touristic attractions of our region. They visited Węzyków Palace in the neighbouring village Paszkówka, ancient city Krakow, Museum Auschwitz in Oświęcim, some of the teachers also visited the Wieliczka Salt Mine.

After a few days in our country, the partner departure started. The groups had been arranged to leave either from the airport or the bus station. They all left satisfied both with the accommodation and the results of the project works and wished to meet each other again at the last mobility in Portugal.

For the whole school community, it was an extraordinary event, which permanently made history of our school.
