AnalyzerThe Baseline® Series 9000 NMHC is a specialized member of the extraordinary Series 9000 family of gas analyzers. The Series 9000 is the candidate of choice whenever accurate, reliable total, Methane, and NonMethane analysis is required. The Series 9000 analyzer provides unparalleled flexibility and offers continuous, fully automated gas analysis over a broad range of concentrations.

The Series 9000 NMHC is designed to measure the total, methane, and non-methane hydrocarbon content of gas samples. The analyzer has a generous complement of analog, digital and logic output capabilities.

The analyzer is based on a flame ionization detector (FID) and an oxidation catalyst that is switched in and out of a portion of the sample stream. The catalyst oxidizes all hydrocarbons except methane, for a methane measurement. The methane value is then automatically subtracted from the total hydrocarbon concentration to determine the non-methane hydrocarbon reading.

The Series 9000 NMHC can be configured with internal components for single or multipoint analysis of non-condensing gas samples. The automatic calibration feature enhances the long-term analytical stability of the instrument. AnalyzerThe Baseline® Series 9000 TCA is a specialized member of the extraordinary Series 9000 family of gas analyzers. The Series 9000 is the candidate of choice whenever accurate, reliable total hydrocarbon and total carbon analysis is required. The Series 9000 analyzer provides unparalleled flexibility and offers continuous, fully automated gas analysis over a broad range of concentrations.

The Series 9000 TCA has a dynamic range from less than 0.1 ppm to 100 ppm, it’s designed to measure total hydrocarbon content and provide a combined carbon monoxide (CO) and carbon dioxide (CO2) reading. The analyzer has a generous complement of analog, digital and logic output capabilities.

The analyzer is based on a flame ionization detector (FID) and a reduction catalyst that is switched in and out of a portion of the sample stream. Total hydrocarbons are measured first, and then the catalyst switches in. The catalyst converts the CO & CO2 to methane and leaves the hydrocarbons unchanged for a total carbon measurement. The total hydrocarbon value is then automatically subtracted from the total carbon concentration to determine the combined CO/CO2 reading

The Series 9000 TCA can be configured with internal components for single or multipoint analysis of non-condensing gas samples. The automatic calibration feature enhances the long-term analytical stability of the instrument.

ApplicationsThe Series 9000 TCA is designed to continuously monitor total hydrocarbons and trace levels of CO/CO2 in order to provide a total carbon reading.

This specialized analyzer is configured for the detection of hydrocarbon and CO/CO2 impurities in pure and ultrapure inert gases such as argon, helium, hydrogen, and nitrogen. Samples must be free of oxygen.

AnalyzerThe Baseline® Series 9000 H is a high-temperature member of the extraordinary Series 9000 family of gas analyzers. The Series 9000 is the candidate of choice whenever accurate, reliable hydrocarbon analysis is required.

The Series 9000 H has a dynamic range from 0.1 ppm to 10% (Propane) or 0.3 ppm to 50% (Methane). The analyzer has a generous complement of analog, digital and logic output capabilities. These features place the instrument well ahead of the competition in performance, automation, and configurability.

The analyzer is based on a flame ionization detector (FID) with FlowGuard electronic control that delivers a small portion of the sample gas to the detector flame. During the combustion process, organic or hydrocarbon-based gases in the sample are ionized then they can be detected by the instrument and reported as a concentration.

The Series 9000 H is configured for single point analysis of samples heated up to 376 °F (191°C). The automatic calibration feature enhances the long-term analytical stability of the instrument.

ApplicationsThe Series 9000 H is designed to continuously monitor the total hydrocarbon content of gases and maintain the temperature of heated sample above their dew point. This extremely versitile instrument can be configured to support a variety of applications, such as:
