Convention Due DatesAll Convention Forms will be available and distributed to Club Presidents via email during the month of March.
In order to best organize a successful and enjoyable convention, please cooperate with the following due dates:
Registration: August 1st and August 2nd-30th with late fees, absolutely no refunds on Registration fees
Room Reservation: August 18th is block cutoff date
Meal Order Form: August 15th and August 16-30th with late fees, no refunds after August 30th
Journal Ad: Ad must be received via email by August 15th and the check by August 30th
Sponsorship: Will be accepted at any time, but for proper inclusion on printed materials, names must be received by August 15th
Vendor Contracts: Vendor space is limited and forms must be received by August 15th. Vendors will be notified if they are or are not accepted. Every effort will be made to accommodate everyone.

Hotel Room ReservationOur location for the Democratic Women’s Club 2015 Convention is the Cocoa Beach Hilton. We have a block of rooms on reserve for the following special prices:

Rates are available 3 days before and 3 days after. Please reserve your room as soon as possible. Book directly with the Hotel room reservation department by calling their toll-free number

In doing so, please ask your attendees to request the group rate for the Democratic Women’s Club of Florida. The group may add rooms to the block up until the “Cut-Off Date” of 08/18/2015.

The Democratic Women’s Club of Florida is holding its 2015 State Convention from September 17th
through the 20th at the Hilton in Cocoa Beach, Florida. DWCF is an active, progressive organization of Florida women with over 40 individual clubs throughout our state who are working together to make Florida a better place for all of its residents. Our goals are to educate and encourage the citizens of Florida to register to vote, participate in the election process, and vote their preference for candidates and the important issues that impact the lives of all Florida residents.
The DWCF Convention committee is bringing together an impressive group of outstanding speakers and workshops for 2015 on the theme Democratic Women: Voices for Equality. We invite you become a part of this special Convention and celebration by becoming a DWCF Convention sponsor.We are reaching out to individuals and organizations all over Florida, and your support will be recognized and appreciated!
All Sponsors are invited to attend the Opening Reception. Sponsorships levels include:
Platinum: $2000 – Full page ad in the Convention Program; recognition at all events; 4 dinner tickets and 4 drink tickets
Gold $1000 – 3/4 page ad in the Convention Program; recognition at all events; 2 dinner tickets and 2 drink tickets for one evening of choice

As we all know conventions are expensive. We are asking all members to participate in this fundraiser for our 2015 Convention, which has the theme Democratic Women: Voices for Equality.
We are offering a beautiful Rhinestone pin with initials DWCF. The following is a representation made in Photoshop of what the pin will look like when manufactured. The size of the pin will be approximately ¾” x 2”. The cost will be $25. All profit will be used directly for convention expenses.
