Basic Copying
1. Place document face down on the glass and align it
against the left rear corner of the glass
2. Key in the number of copy (s) as needed
3. Close the lid
4. Press the START button

Copying from Automatic Document Feeder
1. Place document (s) in Automatic Document Feeder
2. Key in the number of copy (s) as needed
3. Press the START button

Duplex Copying
1. Place document (s) on the glass/Automatic Document
Feeder
2. Select the ‘1-2 Duplex’ on the Touch Panel
3. Select the option (s) following:
1-2 Duplex-One-Side original to Two-Sided Copy
2-2 Duplex-Two-Sided original to Two-Sided Copy
2-1 Split-Two-Sided original to One-Sided Copy
4. Key in the number of copy (s) as needed
5. Press COPY button

Faxing
1. Place document (s) on glass/Automatic Document
Feeder
2. Press the FAX on the Touch Panel
3. Select the fax number using the Digital Keys or
Address Book
4. Press Send on the Touch Panel

Printing Envelop
1. Place envelop (s) with short end on the Bypass Feeder
2. Flip the green lever
3. Press the Job Status button
4. Select the Envelop on the Touch Panel
5. Press the PRINT button

Printing from Windows Applications
1. Click File and select PRINT from the menu of the
application
2. Select the correct printer name– make sure that the
printer status is ready
3. Set the print options on each tab according to how you
want to print such as all pages, one page, size of paper,
print one sided, or both sided
4. Select PRINT

Paper Loading
1. Pull out the paper drawer
2. Fan a stack of paper; then tap it on a flat surface to even
the edges.
Note: Remove damaged paper (s) if any
3. Place a stack of paper into the drawer
4. Close the drawer

Replacing Toner Cartridge
1. Open the front cover
2. Hold down the green lever and remove the old
cartridge at the same time
3. Make sure to shake the new cartridge well with the
label surface down
4. Remove the protective sheet from the end of the new
toner cartridge
5. Pull out the seal in the direction of the arrow
6. Insert the toner cartridge along the rail until it clicks
7. Close the front cover

Store and Handle Paper
Store the paper at room temperature and in an en-
closed space that is flat, dry, and easily accessible
Store the paper in its original packet until it is ready for
use
Be sure to reseal the paper package with tape after it is
opened to prevent dust accumulating on the paper
