RESULTS OF CLASS XII- March 2017

Our students scripted history by achieving a feat dreamt always but achieved rarely. Students of class XII appeared in SSC Board Examination conducted by CBSE. A remarkable strength of 158 students appeared for the examination, out of which 16 students scored A1 grade (i.e. above 90%), only one student failed and 11 students appeared for compartment. The pass percentage is 92.41% which is much higher than the previous years. The quality index was 6.73 out of 10 and the excellence index was 70.89% (i.e. students who scored first class marks in the board examination)

We never failed to fulfill the dreams of students and parents as AECS-4, Rawatbhata always keeps its record high in academics. In March 2017 board

examinations, 111 students appeared from class X and 28 students scored 10 points CGPA i.e. 25.23% of students scored A1 grade in all the subjects. It is worth noting that 52 students have scored A1 grade in overall total marks i.e., above 90%. Only one student was EIOP, and the pass percentage is 99.10. The class average was 86.13% with quality index of 8.57 and the excellence index of 99.10. The 28 outstanding performers in class X are here

Academic (Classes I to V) Annual Exam Result 2016-17 The number of students who secured A* in all subjects for the academic year 2016-17 was 215 which is an increase of 22 A* than previous year.

Exam Policy for classes I & II is goin to be as per the CCE and no formal Exams. New Exam Policy for classes III to V- 2 periodical tests, Half Yearly & Annual Exams will be conducted.

NTSE is the dream of every student who has high ambition in life. It is a proud moment for the school that the following 5 students have qualified NTSE at state level.

NTSE scholarship is being awarded for 1000 students every year all over India. Three of our students namely, Swati Vijay, Devanshi Khatsuriya and Aashish Gautam have qualified for all India Scholarship. Miss Swati Vijay and Miss Devanshi Khatsuriya have cleared the State Level Talent Search Examination. Cultural Activities CCA activities began with the advent of this academic session itself. Investiture Ceremony on July 5, 2017. The objective of leadership is to create leaders and not followers.

School Level Science, Social Science, Mathematics and Teaching Aids Exhibition: The School Level Science, Social Science, Mathematics and Teaching Aids Exhibition was held on 7th July, 2017. It was an apt forum to develop the scientific temper and

scientific spirit among the learners. The Chief guest on the occasion, Shri M. Srinivashwan, Station Drector- N.P.C.I.L, Rawatbhata (Vice Chairman, L.M.C) threw light on the pro – active role of learners towards development and innovation in the field of science and technology in India.

Imminent intellectuals and resource persons like Mr. D. S. Halder, Mr. A. P. Jain, Mr. Rachit Goyal, Mr. R. C. Swarnkar, Dr. Komal Jain, Smt. K. Soni, ( P.G.T. – Biology) and Sri Yogesh Arya, ( P.G.T - Chemistry ). The exhibit

titled “Study of Regenerative Medicines by Transgenic Chicken Prepared by Cell-less Culture Method” was highly admired by the panel of judges, learners and audience in the exhibition for its remarkable contribution towards the study of biology and chemistry. SLOGAN AND PAINTING COMPETITON ORGANSIED BY NPCIL RR SITE

For enhancement of safety awareness among the students, various competitions were organized to inculcate safety habits among students on 12th July 2017 by NPCIL in AECS 4. The students of Classes IV & V participated enthusiastically in the Drawing & Slogan competition. Tiny Tots

JSO-JMO A unique programme is being organized by AEES in collaboration with HBCSE every year for science and mathematics Olympiad for the junior students. Two of our students Mast.ARCHIT ISHAM and Mast.SHASHWAT METHI from class X participated in JSO/JMO orientation programme held at Mumbai 9th October 2017 to 14th October 2017. Zonal Level & All India Competitions

AEES conducts all India Debate competition for English and Hindi in alternate years and Hindi Vigyan Prashna Manch every year. First level competitions will be held at Zonal level and then at all India level in Mumbai. This year Hindi debate competition was held at AECS-3, Rawatbhata. Two of our students namely Anushka Dubey of class IX and Palak Jain of class X have won in Zonal level Hindi Competition and they will be participating in all India Level Hindi Debate competition at Mumbai in the month of January. RTE & SEEP To reach education out to the underprivileged children of the vicinity, 18 students were admitted to AEC schools, Rawatbhata for which a survey was made by a duly constituted committee. Mr. Pinkee Wasnik (HM) and Mr. Darab Singh PRT-SS were the members of the committee. 10 students were admitted in AECS-4, Rawatbhata under RTE and SEEP by which we gave them an opportunity to become a part of our student community. Societal Enrichment and Educational Programme (SEEP) 2017-18 The SEEP initiative was launched in AECS-4 Rawatbhata many years ago by AEES with a view to identify and to foster outstanding talent in the vicinity of the school. Due to all round dedicated effort, what started off as a trickle has now

snowballed into a comparatively large programme catering to the educational requirements of 64 students. Around 15 batches have successfully passed out of the school. Ten students have been admitted under SEEP/TNP programme this year too. The success of the programme has created positive vibes in Rawatbhata and its vicinity. There is an eagerness among the local inhabitants to have their wards admitted into the school under this programme. The extraordinary success of a few SEEP students and the recognition accorded to them by the school and the RR Site has served as an inspiration for other youngsters of the town to follow their example. Under this programme, many free facilities are extended to SEEP students like school uniform, teaching material, scholarships Rs 400 per month and free medical facility. The SEEP initiative has gone a long way in enlightening and empowering the less privileged sections living in the neighborhood of RAPP. Literary Club: The advent of club activities began with the inauguration of Literary Club on 25th August 2017 with the active involvement of Mr. Kapil Gajbhiye (PGT-Eng.), the in-charge of Literary Club Activities, and his team. Mrs. Arati Jain, wife of Shri. Vivek Jain, Project Director 7 & 8 Rawatbhata, inaugurated the Literary Club with her graceful presence and encouraged the student-members for their active participation for an activity of immense benefit. Students were given the portfolio in the Literary Club. Ms. Nacny, XII - A was handed over the change as the Secretary , Ms. Risha Yadav IX A was given the portfolio of Joint Secretary while Ms. Palak Jain become In - Charge of Activities. Science Club

Following the footsteps of Literary Club, Science Club was inaugurated on 30th August at the hands of Dr. Manoj Kumar, Paediatrician, RAPS

Hospital, Rawatbhata. He emphasised on the scientific temperament to be developed among students. The Chief Guest on the occasion, Dr. Manoj Kumar, a renowned Pediatrician in Rawatbhata, declared the club open. While delivering his speech, Dr. Kumar emphasized on good health, importance of science in our daily life and balance between professional and social life. The role played of balanced diet, test of various food components, role of pressure and friction in everyday life. Similarly, elaborative demonstration over indicators and effective teaching aid exhibited by Mr. Anup Pathak, Lab. Assistant, Department of Biology, added to the strength and beauty of the science.

The programme was successfully moderated by Ms. Netrica Mendar, T.G.T ( Science ). And it was successfully conducted by the members of the science club like Mr. S.K. Soni, Mr.Yogesh Arya, Mr. Govind Sharma, Ms. Rinku Gupta, Ms. Akansha Agrawal, Ms. Jyoti Soni. The programme came to an end with the vote of thanks proposed by Mr.Yogesh Arya, P.G.T.(,S.S.), Chemistry. Career Counselling Mr. Paritosh Verma, a B. E. and research scholar at Massachusetts University, Italy. The alumni enlightened our students on 30th August 2017.

He counselled our students of classes XI and XII on various career options and advised to develop interest in their field of choice or else it would be

too late. Mr. Paritosh Verma is an alumnus of the school who is presently pursuing his integrated masters degree and research in theory of gravity from the University of Massachusetts. His lecture was a highly constructive event towards mentoring learners to choose the right path while selecting their career. Parent-Teacher Meeting In order to move towards a venture of joint efforts to help our students excel in the academics, AECS 4 had called for two spells of Parent-Teachers meet for all classes. Similarly, two spells of exclusive meetings with the parents and their wards who need a special care for improvement in order to get through the exams were organized. Parents of primary classes had exhibited a keen interest and turned out for the meeting in a laudably good number. PERTROLEUM CONSERVATION RESEARCH ASSOCIATION (PCRA) On 6th September 2017, PCRA-Painting Competition was organized as per CBSE guidelines. Total 72 students wholeheartedly participated. The topic of the painting was- “Small steps of fuel conservation can make a big change.” The following students were selected as winners in this competition-

On 7th September 2017, PCRA-Essay Writing Competition was held. In this competition total 82 students participated in English and Hindi. At school level, following 3 students were selected-

Best four paintings and best three essays are uploaded on PCRA website for National level selection and their certificates are also downloaded. SADBHAWANA DIWAS 2017 Sadbhavana Diwas 2017 (73rd birth anniversary of Rajiv) is celebrated all over India on Sunday, on 20th of August 2017. The Sadbhavana (means having good feelings for others) Diwas or Harmony Day is celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of the earlier Prime Minister of India, Rajiv Gandhi. Having good feelings for others was the only mission of the government of Rajiv Gandhi. It is celebrated every year on 20th August in order to encourage the national integration, peace, love and affection and communal harmony among the Indian people of all religions. Teachers’ Day

5th September 2017 was celebrated in two different segments. Students expressed their gratitude to their beloved teachers in the programme after the assembly. Some students expressed their feelings in a well spoken speech, some by way of an enactment and some in the form of a dance. The second spell of the Teachers’ Day programme was a joint celebration of all the three AEC Schools of Rawatbhata. The programme was

hosted by the Chairman LMC-Shri. V. K. Jain, Site Director, RR Site NPCIL, Rawatbhata, and it was attended by the Co-Chairman,

Shri. R K Gupta (General Manager, HWP-K), Vice-Chairman Shri. M Sriniwas (Station Director, RAPS 5& 6), other Members of LMC

Body, Principals, Vice Principals, HMs, Teachers and staff of all three AEC Schools, other dignitaries. Learned Colleagues and all other people were present. The dignitaries lauded the teachers’ efforts in imparting the students of Rawatbhata a quality education. Visit of Chairman: AEES

Mr. Rajnish Prakash, Chairman AEES, paid a short visit to our school on 11th August 2017 and also spared his precious time for a pep talk with the staff of AECS No. 4. He highlighted the need for a very high moral and a high standard of teaching in bringing up our students. He urged the teachers and the staff to rededicate them to the profession and obtain maximum contentment, its own reward.

To mark his memorable visit, he was requested to plant a few plants in the premises of the school.

Swachh Bharat “Green city… clean city… my dream city”

Students and staff of AECS-4 engaged themselves in Swachh Bharat activities throughout the year in cleaning school and surrounding campus.

CCA DAY The CCA Prize distribution Day was held on 5th December, 2017. The chief guest for the day was Shri A K Rajput SD, RAPS 3 & 4 and the guest of honour was Smt. Neeraj Rajput. Principal Shri Jitendra Kumar V V, delivered the welcome address and the prizes for the CCA activities were given away by the guests. Shri. P. Narasimman, Vice Principal, proposed a vote of thanks on the day. Shri. Rajveer Tanwar, I/C, CCA, gave a report highlighting CCA of our school. In primary section, about 86 students received about 300 CCA prizes in various competitions. Similarly, in secondary and senior secondary sections about 242 students won 404 prizes in which 83 are boys and like every year the girls are leading in number with 159. The prize distribution function was followed by cultural programmes presented by the students of primary and secondary section.

Eight individual activities and four group activities were conducted throughout the year for various groups of students. Beautiful floral decoration and Rangoli was made by class 3 to 5. Students actively participated in Art competition, Hindi and English story and poem competition. Solo dance & group song/dance were eye catching events.

SPORTS DAY The much awaited Annual Sports Day was celebrated on 5th December, 2017 in the second session. Shri R K Gupta (Station Director 7&8, RAPP) was the Chief Guest and Smt Bharti Gupta was the Guest of Honor.

Mrs Humera Zeehat (PET) gave a detailed report of various sports events conducted in 2017-18 namely Badminton, Chess, Table Tennis, Basket Ball, Foot Ball, Volley Ball, Athletics. Around 220 students bagged 465 prizes in secondary section. Our students brought laurels. Six students Master Ashutosh Tiwari of class (VII), Master. Hardik Soni (VII) ,Miss. Mimansa Saini (VIII), Miss. Nandini Garg (VIII) represented state level Badminton tournament at Hanumangarh from 17th September to 22nd September, 2017.

The Chief Guest appreciated the school and the students for their involvement in giving importance and encouragement to sports activities. He stressed how important sports is for mental and physical growth of students. The program ended with a vote of thanks by the Head Mistress. The prize distribution function was followed by cultural programmes presented by the students of primary and secondary section.

In-Service Training Programme “ If not me, Who ? If not now, When ? “ – Spinoza The following teachers of AECS-4, Rawatbhata attended the 12 days In-Service programme at different places during May 2017.

Childrens’ Day Celebration Children’s’ Day was celebrated on 14th November, 2017 with great enthusiasm and joy. Principal gave a thoughtful speech for the occasion. On this occasion, Students managed the school by taking various responsibilities. Show match between students and teachers were conducted. A spectacular cultural programme was given by the students and teachers. Vice Principal Shri P Narasimman proposed the vote of thanks and insisted the role of students and the need for hard work to create a bright future.

Guest Lecture(15/12/2017)

Division, BARC, Mumbai who delivered lecture on Environment Sustainability. He insisted to foster the creativity of students, avoid plastics in day to day life and to avoid the wastage of food. School Excursion Educational Trips/Excursions were arranged for the students of classes from Preparatory classes to class X. Students of class VI and X visited the important places in Kota and around.

Student of classes I to III visited ‘Baroli Temple’ near Rawatbhata and the classes IV and V visited ‘Saddle Dam’ in Rawatbhata.

Prep Day The Prep day was celebrated on 16th December, 2017. Most of the parents attended the programme. The Head Mistress, Mrs Pinkee Wasnik delivered the welcome address and Miss Savita Shinde presented the CCA and Sports report. Shri Jithendra Kumar V V, Principal and Shri P Narasimman, Vice Principal addressed the gatherings and distributed the certificates and prizes. Smt Seema Pandey thanked all the participants.
