Telemedicine System is characterized for its ability to establish bidirectional communications with all the Tele-aid devices, both on the national territory and on the foreign country, however inside the areas covered by GSM/GPRS or satellitare networks.
FUNCTIONALITIES
The Tele-aid devices have moreover the ability to be connected with the elettromedical systems so as to communicate in real time also the life parameters acquired on site. This system not only represents a real tool of aid for the patients but also for the medical staff who is in a position to taking part in way absolutely timely and aimed thanks to the real time availability of medical data.
ARCHITECTURE
Telemedicine System is available in 3 versions:
•BASE SYSTEM for tele-aid •EXTENDED SYSTEM with telemedicine functionality•EXPANDED SYSTEM with paramedical functionality.
BASE SYSTEM
The BASE SYSTEM is an application environment (Center of Aid) resident on PC in a position to receiving the calls of tele-aid devices, to visualize the place of the call on digital cartography and to concur with the operator to communicate with the patient in order to supply aid.
The Center of Aid is constituted from two software modules:
•The Telecommunication Interface; this module is in a position to recording all the telephone traffic so as to supply an useful documentation of the activities carried out from Centers of Aid.
•The Cartographic Engine; this module supplies localization of the Tele-aid devices that has carried out the call.
EXTENDED SYSTEM
The EXTENDED SYSTEM is composed from Base System with the additional ability to interface the most common electromedical devices. The interconnection with these apparatuses happens through a WiFi connection that avoids the necessity of being physically close to the same ones.
EXPANDED SYSTEM
The EXPANDED SYSTEM is composed from Extended System with a terminal device to be used by the medical or resque staff. This terminel constitutes an important instrument of dialogue between the Center of Aid and the person who has in charge the care of the patient; the immediate communication of information relative (e.g.) to the supplying of particular drug to the patient concurs in fact to hold constantly updated his clinical folder. The data contained in this clinical folder can immediately be consulted from the doctors in order to provide the best aid to the patient.
