The CCC is a vital partner in making a successful transition.
Identify potential separatees early (9 to 12 months) and retirees (24 months):Complete the Pre-separation Counseling

Mandated by Public Law 101-510The VMET is:
A listing of job skills and experience acquired while on active duty that may apply to employment in the private sector.
A tool to use in combination with evaluations, fitness reports, and other pertinent documents to prepare employment applications.
A listing of a training data after 1980 and experience history only after 1975.
