• Go to the company website and review the current openings.

• After you have completed an online profile and applied to a specific job, send the recruiter an email with your resume attached and the requisition number of the position you applied to online.

• They will then be able to quickly look you up in the system and forward your resume to the appropriate recruiter or hiring manager handling that requisition.

• Send a professional resume with a T-Cover Letter outlining how you meet the job requirements.

• If you feel you need help with your resume, there are professionals to help you and you can get advice from your career networking groups• Prepare the best resume possible • Look at example resumes of others with your job• Match what you have done with job requirements• Hit the high points… be specific but don’t get lost in details• Have several versions of your resume available for different

jobs or better yet, tweak your resume to match the job you are interested in.

• Carefully read the requirements of the job

• Make sure you have all the necessary requirements before you apply

• Don’t apply for jobs if you don’t meet the minimum requirements

• Don’t get “creative” with your skills or experience, it always comes out.
