The target audience for this magazine is 11-15 year olds although, others (older & younger) tend to read it too.

How they attract/satisfy their audience: The colours used are bright, bold and ‘girly’.

The font: simplistic and child-like.

The models: Justin Bieber, Zac Efron & the Jonas Brothers (2 of which we’re/are Disney stars - both very popular with young girls. All models have been placed in the centre & are looking at the consumer to grab their attention.

Language: colloquial and ‘modern’: ‘snog..’ and ‘OMG’. Text talk is very popular with the younger generation which shows that they want their readers to have fun whilst reading the magazine (and they also want their readers to be interested in what they’re reading.)

happy to date ‘dedicated’ fans. colours: girly (pinks & yellows) which makes the magazine look fun, innocent &

interesting.
