So how do employees become happier and
more productive?
Give them what they want.
...well not exactly.(but within reason...)

But what if they still don’t seem engaged?
Sound familiar? »
1. Tap into their brains.
Try bringing them on to a new project to solve a problem you need help with.
2. Bring them along to an industry event or meeting.
Have them meet others in the industry or a peer group to work.
3. Have lunch with them.

Having lunch out of the office sets a more casual tone where you can get to know them better and find more middle ground. It can show them that you are invested in them as an employee and person.
4. Give them a book to read.Books are a great way to pass on knowledge and to learn something new. Whether it’s a business or leadership book, they’ll get something out of it and can help you build a stronger relationship with them.

5. Teach them something new.
Younger employees love to learn and build their skills and expertise. Training and development is key in retaining and engaging employees.
Bring them to an industry conference or teach them something new one-on-one.
