Camp InformationThe SIMPLY MAGIC Football Camp will be held at Toowoomba Grammar School, offering players the opportunity to train using the School’s high quality facilities with experienced coaches in attendance. This program is open to players aged 6 - 14 years who want to improve their Football skills.

Academy Program11 - 14 years – 3 day program from 9:00am - 12:00pmThe Academy Program is designed to challenge the most committed of players aged 11 - 14 years and provides an ideal platform for their Football development. Participants will be exposed to coaching focusing on technical, tactical and physical elements of the game. These coaches are guided by Richard 'Magic' Mitchell. (Note: Players to provide their own morning tea)

Development Program6 - 10 years – 3 day program from 9:00am - 12:00pmThe Development Program allows players aged 6 - 10 years to develop technical abilities in a fun environment. The program promotes technical skills using 4 v 4 games. This is an excellent way to prepare for the 2018 season and beyond.(Note: Players to provide their own morning tea)

Coach - Richard MitchellFollowing his move from Scotland, Richard ‘Magic’ Mitchell played for North Star in Brisbane and captained the team in the old State League. After his playing career he moved to Toowoomba to take up the Director of Coaching role with SWQ Football. Magic also had this role with the Wide Bay Association. In the early 2000’s he moved to the Northern Territory to take up the role as State Technical Director before returning to Toowoomba as SWQ Thunder Technical director.
