EVENT- TOMCHASEAnything happens in Grand Prix racing, and it
usually does.
Murray WalkerINTRODUCTION-Build a manually controlled robotwhich can pass through all the possible huddles obstructing its
path in minimum time indorder to survive further in the event.

Problem Statement:
Build a manually controlled robot which can pass through all the
possible huddles obstructing its path in minimum time in order to
survive further in the event.
General Rules:
Task
-To complete the track on time passing through all the
huddles coming in the way.

-Reaching the finish line before your enemy reaches it.
Rules
- A maximum number of participants allowed per team: 4people.
- A maximum of two team members can control the robot
simultaneously
- The participants will be provided with 220 Volts, 50Hz
standard AC supply. Participants willhave to themselves
arrange for any other power supply required for theirrobot.
- Teams qualifying the first round will go into the second
round and those qualifying the second round participate
in the the final race.
- Teams cannot tinker with their bots in the arena
- For healthy game spirit the cars would be checked forsafety.
-The machine that falls off the track will be penalized with
5 seconds delay in the race and the race will restart from
the starting line.
-Teams can have maximum 1 restart only.
-If any sort of damage happens in the robot teams will begiven only 1 minute to repair it.
-The decision of the Robotron Team shall be final and
binding.

Robot specifications
The car can be wired or wireless. If wired the wires
should never be tight.
There will be only one RC car allowed for one team.
The RC car must be stable and able to move on its
own. Robot not fulfilling these criteria will be
disqualified.
IC engines are not allowed in the race.
Maximum dimension : 30cm*30cm*30 cm at any
point of time during the race.
The dimensions mentioned are subject to a tolerance
of 10 percent.
The maximum potential difference that can be used
to power the robot will be 30 V.For safety reasons. Power supply can be on board (battery) or off-board.
They have to bring their own adapters.
The car should not leave behind any sort of exhaust
or liquid.
The car should not leave behind any sort of exhaustor liquid.
You are advised to take all precautionary
safety measures such as waterproofing,
insulation to ensure that shocks, accidental

fire due to short circuits etc. can be avoided.
Scoring
First round- At the end of the allotted time the finalposition of the car will be recorded.it will be the last
checkpoint it crossed.
Second round-The team reaching the finish line first will
qualify for further rounds.
Penalty
-In case the car falls off the track-5 sec delay in start and
race restarts.
-In any case a team can take a restart before the 2nd
checkpoint only-7 sec delay in start and the racerestarts.
Rounds One
TASK
Reach the finish line in the allotted time of 4 minutes
crossing all the 4 checkpoints.
ARENA-
