Sites, beginning April 14th, 7pm.

Yellowstone, the Grand Canyon,

Santorin, Iceland are on everyone’s

list of must-see attractions. But what

of Ha Long Bay, the Columbia Glacier,

Erta Ale lava lake, and the Great Blue

Hole? These along with more than

200 other sites, both famous and

obscure, are well worth a visit. In

addition to visiting geological sites,

the class will explore the science

behind erosion, plate tectonics,

volcanic eruptions, and other

spectacular geological processes

that have, and are, forming our

world. The class will also consider

the effects major geological

catastrophes on the shape and

evolution of our planet. Plenty of

discussion time will be allotted to

these and other contemporary

issues that might arise during the

class. $25 for the course

THE AGONY & ECSTASY OF DE-CLUTTERINGWednesday, March 16, 7-8:30pm at The Stonebridge ClubLook around. Are there things you should say goodbye to, but have been slow to let go? Janet La Berge, owner of Dirty DeedsDone Dirt Cheap, will guide you through the process of letting go of belongings. Rather than approaching the task as reducingclutter, Janet will show you how to “pay it forward” by focusing on redistributing everything to recyclable household waste. Theitems you say “goodbye” to will be received in her Good Deeds thrift shop at 209 Water Street, Pembroke. Sale of items youdonate cover the costs of running the store and provide funds that are given to local charities in her “Give Back” Program.

SWING INTO SPRING: N2N FITNESS CHALLENGEGet up, get out, get moving.Register between March 1st-25thNeighbor to Neighbor invites you to join friends and neighbors in the spring N2N Fitness Challenge, a six week programdesigned to help you get up, get out and get moving! The Challenge starts with an April 7th orientation where you will meetyour teams and select leads. The core of the program is daily exercise tracking and reporting totals once a week to your teamlead. You can participate in group walks and other activities to help you meet your exercise goals or you can exercise on yourown schedule, or anything in between. How you achieve your goals is up to you.

Whatever your current level of activity, this program will motivate you to set a personal fitness goal, and make progresstoward it. And since you'll be doing it with a group of equally motivated people you'll have fun and make new friends in theprocess.

As part of the program, you'll receive a digital pedometer to record your activity, and each team's weekly exercise totals will beposted via email for all participants to share.

This program is open to all Pinehills residents but limited to 40 participants. Complete a registration form at the StonebridgeClub. $30 fee payable to PHLOA. (note N2N Fitness Challenge on check)

Men's Group will meet Wednesday,March 23rd, The Men’s Group andNeighbor to Neighbor (N2N) are verypleased to offer an evening with PeterHolden. Come and hear Peter give anupdate on the progress made since themerger of our old Jordan Hospital withthe Beth Israel Deaconess Medical

Center (BIDMC) in Boston. Peter willoutline some of the gains achieved in anumber of the hospital’s centers ofcare and tell of the challenges ofintegrating the two institutions.Additionally, as one of the key leadersin the state in the fight againstsubstance abuse, there is no onebetter placed to provide a status ofthis medical crisis. BID-Plymouth’spilot program, the Integrated CareInitiative, combines both medical andbehavioral health/substance abusecare into one integrated approach tothe problem.
