Short Term Programs for Exchange Students Tokyo Metropolitan University proudly offers two types of short-term programs for exchange students from partner universities. Students can get an experience of studying and researching in Tokyo. They also can earn credits so as to be counted in credits required for graduation from home university, depending on the academic exchange agreement

r Semester Abroad at Tokyo Metropolitan University (SATOMU) Program j SATOMU is a short-term (one or two semesters) program for exchange students from partner universities. SATOMU program offers above 100 courses taught in English and Japanese language courses at various levels from beginner to advanced. TMU welcomes over 100 students from 30 countries and regions in each year.

「 Summer and Winter Program 」This program is a 3-week summer /winter Japanese course. The program aims at providing a comprehensive introduction to Japanese language and culture. Students will develop their language skills, experience traditional Japanese culture such as classic tea ceremony, and increase their understanding of the Japanese society through field studies.
