TOILET PAPER ROLL ACTIVITY: Create Your Own Superhero Signal! Charlie Brown has his signature zigzag shirt, Superman has his S, and Wonder Woman has her winged W. Create your own personal symbol and light it up with this fun activity. Think about what letter or image represents you. Is it a star or heart or your first initial? Follow the directions below to create your own symbol and light-up signal! Materials Needed: -Toilet paper or paper towel roll -Plastic wrap or tissue paper -Dark piece of construction paper -Pencil -Scissors -Glue or tape -Rubber band -Flashlight -Optional: markers, crayons, and/or stickers 1. On the sheet of paper, draw a superhero symbol (such as an initial, zigzag, star, or other shape) no larger than the circumference of the toilet paper roll, and cut it out. 2. Glue or tape your superhero symbol onto a piece of plastic wrap or tissue paper. If using a letter, glue it backwards. If using tape, be sure the tape is not visible and is smaller than the symbol itself. 3. Place the plastic wrap or tissue paper, with the symbol in the center, onto the end of your toilet paper roll and pull tight around the tube. Secure with a rubber band or tape. 4. Decorate your tube with markers, crayons, or stickers if desired. 5. TOILET PAPER ROLL ACTIVITY: Create Your Own Superhero Signal!

Charlie Brown has his signature zigzag shirt, Superman has his S, and Wonder Woman has her winged W. Create your own personal symbol and light it up with this fun activity. Think about what letter or image represents you. Is it a star or heart or your first initial? Follow the directions below to create your own symbol and light-up signal!
