The winner will receive a $25 Target gift card, and will have their art (with their name) featured on the 400+ posters displayed throughout the area. May is National Bike MonthDid you know you can donate your child’s outgrown bike to EBC? When you do, not only will you be keeping it out of the landfill, you will also give another local child the opportunity to experience the pure joy
that comes with bike ownership. Last year EBC gave out 488 bikes, scooters & tricycles (with helmets, plus 196 additional helmets). Almost all of these came in as donations from YOU! Thank you, and please keep us in mind the next time your child (or you) get a new bike. EBC gives bikes to kids up to age 12, so children’s and adult bikes are accepted and given back out.
End of School Year DonationsReady or not, summer is coming. Fast. We’re sure you are very busy making plans, but we’d like to ask you to keep EBC in mind at the end of the school year when your child is finished with his or her school supplies. Those backpacks you’re sure they won’t want to use again next year, the folders with lots of
life left in them, the extra paper, extra crayons, extra glue; we would love to have them all. Long before school starts back in the fall, EBC is working with our partners in early education and other programs to make sure the families they serve will be fully prepared for the coming year. Your “that’s so last year” donations will help a child in your community go back to school with the tools they need for success.

Eastside Baby Corner makes a positive difference in the lives of children and families in need. We do this by collecting and purchasing children’s items and distributing them, free of charge, through local social service agencies. We give families help and hope.

About UsEastside Baby Corner (EBC) was founded in 1990 by Karen Ridlon, a local pediatric nurse practitioner who was concerned with the large numbers of babies in her practice that began life without adequate food, clothing, beds or safety equipment.
Her commitment to giving these children a stronger start grew from an idea into an agency that annually distributes almost 60,000 new or gently-used items.
EBC serves a broad area in greater east King County. It is the only agency that provides these unique services in this region.
EBC receives financial support from many of the cities it serves, as well as from private foundations, individuals, businesses, faith-based organizations and civic groups.
