Entry Requirements1. Applicants must hold a high school certification (M.6) or equivalent or expect to obtain one prior to registration.
2. Applicants must submit a minimum GPA of 2.50 or equivalent from their high schools.
3. Applicants must meet the minimum requirements in English language proficiency, obtaining one of the following :
• SAT (Math, Critical reading, Writing: 3 parts) minimum 1,100
• TOEFL : minimum 500 or internet based 61• IELTS : minimum 5.5 • TU-GET : minimum 500 * Applicants submitted results are only eligible for reapplication for two years.
4. English writing test and interview are also required.
Selection processApplicants meeting the requirements must undertake a English-language written examination testing knowledge of the media and current affairs organized by the program, as well as undergo an English-language interview.
Tuition FeeThe estimated annual budget (as requested to the budgeting planning project for educational development no.9), for each student is estimation of 134,000 baht or 510,000 baht for the whole program.

For more than half a century, Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication has provided students with the necessary theoretical and practical skills to thrive in the professional world. In 1982, the Faculty offered our first master’s program in mass communication, and in the year 2000 we added two more master’s degree programs to our overall curriculum. In 1999, the Faculty welcomed its first group of Ph.D students. In 2006 the Faculty reached another milestone by commencing an English program in Journalism (Mass Media Studies). All of these programs were developed under one goal - to produce the best qualified graduates with a high sense of morality and social responsibility for our country.
