Rustenburg – The 24-year old Molebogeng Sekudu is hoping to become the next South Africa’s Ultimate Brand Ambassador. Born and bred in Rustenburg, Sekudu told the Platinum Weekly that she entered the competition in May 2015, as it is aligned with her desire to uplift her community through empowering young girls. With her passion for entrepreneurship, Sekudu graduated from Raymond Ackerman Academy of Entrepreneurial Development at the University of Johannesburg and is currently on an internship with Vitol RCL Transport. She is the Founder and Director of GOGOco. (Pty) Ltd. Sekudu is currently in the process of opening her mentorship programme for your women and children in her community, Meriting. “While our com-munity is affected mostly by teenage pregnancy and poverty, my pro-gramme will address these issues. It will also focus on groom-ing these young girls on entrepreneurship so they can learn to depend on them-selves,” Sekudu said. As a reality leader-ship and mentorship TV program which interlinks social and corporate sectors while creating op-portunities to benefit local charities and uplifting communi-ties, South Africa’s Ultimate Brand Am-bassador (SAUBA) is also designed to em-power, mentor and create awareness through empower-ment of young wom-en like Molebogeng Sekudu from different parts of South Africa.
