"Today I must have music!" This morning Kayla came into Kindy and announced as she put her lunch box away "Miss Belinda, I must have music today! Do we have instruments I can play with today?" "Yes Kayla we do and I can organise that for you right after our planning." "Cool, that will work!" replied Kayla. During the course of the morning Miss Carol put the musical instruments out for the children at Kayla's request and she made her way over to the mat. "I loooooooooovvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeee music, I also love dancing as well, did you know that?" Kayla said. She went through the wooden box to find exactly what she needed to make her music. Kayla settled on the Triangle and started tapping away. "One, two, three, one, two, three" she counted herself in. Kayla played by herself for a few minutes and then announced to the boys running past "Come on over guys, lets play some tunes" encouraged Kayla and Seth, Kaleb and Taran joined in. They didn't take much convincing and then suddenly Kayla had a band! "Yer that's the way Seth, bang those imbles together. Kaleb you need to get something louder I can't hear you well" Kayla said. The Learning: Kayla it was lovely to see you include the boys into your play. It was also lovely to see you help the boys with some constructive feedback and they took it really well. Kayla you showed that you can give directions in a pleasant way and showed them one of your great likes Music! Next Steps: introduce the music books to Kayla.

"Today I must have music!"

This morning Kayla came into Kindy and announced as she put her lunch box away "Miss Belinda, I must have music today! Do we have instruments I can play with today?" "Yes Kayla we do and I can organise that for you right after our planning." "Cool, that will work!" replied Kayla.
