Toby’s ChristmasBy Mr. Jay

December 22nd, 2006

Toby woke up, yawned and stretched. It was

6:30 in the morning. He suddenly realised

he didn’t have to go to school because it

was almost

Christmas,

and he smiled.

He decided to wake his sister Margaret up.

She was very angry at being woken up so

early during the holidays. Toby laughed.

“Why did you wake me up?” said Margaret.

“I was bored,” said Toby, and he laughed.

Toby was always mean to his sister.

“You’re supposed to be nice to me! It’s

almost Christmas,” said Margaret.

Toby knew this was true. He went to his side

of the room and started playing with his

PSP.

December 23rd, 2006

Toby woke up earlier than Margaret again.

He thought it would be funny to put her

favourite teddy bear, Poopy, in the toilet.

Margaret was very upset with Toby. Toby just laughed again.

Later that night, Toby andMargaret went to bed. Tobystarted dreaming. In his dream, he was walking on acloud with his sister. They met a young lady in the

clouds.

“Hello Toby, I’m Sabrina,” she said.“Hello Sabrina,” saidToby. “Toby, I know you have been mean to your sister. Tomorrow is Christmas day. Ifyou want to have a truly merry Christmas, you have to treather better. If you don’t, you’ll be sorry. Always remember Jesus loves you, Toby.”

Toby woke up early again. He rememberedhis dream from the night before and what the woman had told him. He let his sister sleep in and decided to make herbreakfast.

He got a bowl of cereal,a glass of milk, a banana,a carton of orange juiceand some yoghurt. When Margaretwoke up, she was very surprised.“Thanks Toby!” she said. “You’rewelcome, Margaret!” said Toby. He was nice to her for the rest of the day.

December 25th 2006Toby woke up early again. His sister wasalready up for once. “Merry Christmas, Margaret!” said Toby. “Merry Christmas, Toby,” said Margaret. They went into the living room and looked for their presentsunder the tree.

Toby had a new PSP game and his sister had a new teddy bear.It was a good Christmas.
