Starting a new mission work takes time and prayer. Just like a butterfly has to go through changes, missionaries need to take steps when Jesus sends them to a mission field. FIRst, they need to really pray and make sure they are ready. NEXt, they need to share with other Christians and travel to churches to raise financial support. FINally, they fly off to their new home. What can we do to help them? We can support them with notes of encourage-ment, give money to support them, and pray for them.
