PRAYER TO ASK TO BE DELIVERED FROM
THE VIRUS
To be said for all of humanity. A constant daily wave
of prayer is needed. The prayer goes:
Almighty ever-living God, only support of our
human weakness, look with compassion upon the
sorrowful condition of your children, who suffer
because of this pandemic; relieve the pain of the sick,
give strength to those who care for them, welcome
into your peace those who have died and, through
this time of tribulation, grant that we may all find
comfort in your merciful love. Through Christ our Lord.
STUART CHAPPLE of Preston is soon to be ordained
deacon, but the virus makes date uncertain.
LOURDES pilgrimage is.cancelled of course, but the
Bishop is organizing a “virtual pilgrimage” for this
coming July 24th. Details to come.
Next year’s Lourdes date is 23rd July 2021.

PROGRESS? The N. I. Assembly voted against new pro-abortion regulations being imposed from Westminster. Even so, they will be unless U.K. Govt changes its mind. MPs are to debate it soon. PLEASE ASK your MP to vote against these regulations being imposed on Northern Ireland.
Our condolences and prayers go to Trudy Clayton and family, on the death of her husband, Jack. May he
rest in peace. It’s even more difficult and extra-sad for
people suffering bereavements just now.
STAND UP AND SMILE The conditions of cleft lip, cleft palate and
club foot are routinely treatable nowadays,
but pro-abortionists want abortion to be
permitted even up to birth in such cases !
Pro-Life MPs have launched a Bill to stop that.
The campaign in support of this Bill is “Stand
up and Smile”. There is also a motion in
Parliament called EDM 521, for MPs to sign in
support of our cause. We are asked to email
our MP ([email protected]) to ask him
first, to sign EDM 521, and second, to speak
and vote for the (Cleft Lip etc) Bill when it is
debated. Or write to Mr. Wallace (or your
own MP if different) at House of Commons,
London SW1 1AA.
Our website www.ourladyandstedwards.co.uk
has info; go to <We Care> main page, & there
you find the pro-life webpage.
BISHOP PAUL recommends contacting MPs to get
the Govt to let us re-open churches, at least for carefully-
supervised private visits. [email protected]
