To clone or not to clone?

To clone or not to clone?Cloning in biology - a method of obtaining a number of identical organisms by asexual (including vegetative) reproduction.

Klon in Greek - twig, sprout, stalk

Science-fiction novels and movies give people the impression that human clones would be mindless zombies, monsters like Frankenstein. And all this - is nonsense.The challenges facing cloning:

Cloning of organs and tissuesAbility for childless people to have childrenHelp people with serious genetic diseasesCloning of human genes, therapeutic proteins for the treatment of farm animals 1.Its in human nature always to be afraid of the new and unknown, but cloningcan appear naturally when identicaltwins with the same genotype are born. It is easy to prove the possibility oftransplantation of organs and tissues between them;

2. Church protests can be rejected by a simple example, that appendicitis was created by God too, but even the Pope cant get rid of it without medicalassistance. Scientists talk about fixing of the geneticdefects that have arisen because of God's negligence. Thus, the emotional objections to human cloning have no rational basis and advocate this theory.3. One more argument in favour of cloning is the emergency, the possibility of cloning organs for transplantation,that will decrease the number of dying from cancer, from serious accidents. 4. Besides, the development of cloning will help childless people to have children (in Russia every seventh couple is barren)5. Cloning will help people suffering from serious geneticdiseases. The scientists can replace improper genes in embryo.If the tissue sample is frozen properly, a person can be cloned in a long time after his death.

In the future, scientists will be able to create clones from samples of hair, bones, teeth of outstanding people of the past.Cloning of great people and the dead

Outstanding people are valuable in many ways, both cultural and financial. Their clones would be well-known actors, writers, eminent intellectuals, scientists.
