TNGIC 2005 Annual Conference March 21-25, 2005 Franklin Marriott Cool Springs Franklin, Tennessee TNGIC is proud to host Governor Jim Geringer as the keynote speaker for TNGIC 2005. His address is Tuesday at 9:15 AM in Salon 1-4. As two-term governor of Wyoming, Governor Geringer was known as a strong advocate for technology in government. Under Governor Ger- inger's leadership, Wyoming ex- panded the use of GIS to areas such as land and wildlife management, social services, transportation, and environmental monitoring with the goal of increasing communication and data sharing between various agencies at different government levels. He currently serves as ESRI’s Director of Policy & Enterprise Solu- tions. On Tuesday evening, TNGIC 2005 will host Country singer/songwriter Memarie for a special acoustic ses- sion. Country music fans may recall the intriguing name Memarie (pronounced memory) credited for composing "He'll Never Be A Law- yer," which the awesome threesome George Jones, Ken Mellons and John Anderson recorded.
