Yes, it IS in fact held completely together by duct tape.

Ball 1 goes down a zigzag track to a short track leading into a tube which launches Ball 1 into a lever that triggers Ball 2. Ball 2 goes down a second zigzag track that leads to a second short track that leads into a spiral tube track that launches Ball 2 into a second lever that triggers Ball 3. Ball 3 goes down a third tube to a switchback tube that leads to a catch at the end.

Storage compartments!

UNLIMITED POWER! UNLIMITED POWER! Itty bitty living space…Itty bitty living space…

The summary of stored energy…right.

Well, each ball has potential energy at the top of it’s respective track which becomes kinetic energy as the ball goes down its track. This energy is transferred through the lever into the next ball. Zoom zoom.

Energy is lost with friction in the materials used, and the levers of the ‘coaster’…oh, and the zig-zags.

◦PEI + KEI = KEF

◦S2 = S1 + ((V1 + V2) / 2) * T

Technical Difficulties…in summation.Technical Difficulties…in summation.

One word: Levers. Simple concept, yes, but don’t let that fool you.

Two words: Piece joints. No, not peace joints. We mean where two pieces of the rollercoaster come together. Any of them. All of them. They were all technical difficulties.

The fact that this entire ‘rollercoaster’ is held together simply with duct tape lends itself to a raised eyebrow. Yes, duct tape is awesome, but if the project is started weeks before it is due and goes under constant testing…the duct tape comes loose, and loses its badassery.

In conclusion…In conclusion…

Our conclusions would say that our project is a 100% success (minus the uncountable trials that failed and the resulting hospital visits) and we deserve an A for not being able to count the number of trials (both successful and unsuccessful) that we ran.

Yeah…that.
