TLC PUMPKIN PATCH AND BAKE SALE OCTOBER 14 TH , 15 TH AND 16 TH , 2013 2:45 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. HOW CAN YOU HELP MAKE THIS EVENT BETTER? Glad you asked…. Here are TWO REALLY BIG ways you can help: ONE: We are buying pumpkins in bulk from a wholesale distributor. You can help underwrite costs so that the student body receives 100% of the profits by making a donation. Any dollar amount is appreciated. Make checks payable to “The Learning Castle,” include “Pumpkin Patch” in the Memo and place your donation in one of the tuition boxes located on either campus. Thank you to the Gallup-Miles family for donating ten hay bales. TWO: We need volunteers to donate delicious treats for the bake sale that accompanies the pumpkin patch sale. Pumpkin pies, whipped cream, Halloween cookies, cupcakes or other devilish delights (e.g. hard-boiled eye-ball eggs, ghost sandwiches, scary "hot dog" fingers). Be creative, have fun, just remember NO NUTS! Please tell your Room Parent what items you will be bringing and on what day you will be delivering. Bring your donated treats in the morning or afternoon (no later than 2:30 p.m.) on the following dates: Monday (Oct. 14 th ), Tuesday (Oct. 15 th ), or Wednesday (Oct. 16 th ). Please drop off any and all donated items or baked goods to the LCP office. Remember to mark items donated as "Pumpkin Patch." Sign-up sheets are also located on both campuses (on TLC campus in front of offices next to student folders or in LCP front office). FYI: Family Service Hours will apply. Also, $20.00 worth of donated items is equal to (1) family service hour. Two- dozen homemade baked goods is also equal to (1) family service hour. Underwriting donations will be applied towards the Annual Giving Campaign.

HOW CAN YOU HELP MAKE THIS EVENT BETTER?

Glad you asked…. Here are TWO REALLY BIG ways you can help:

ONE:

We are buying pumpkins in bulk from a wholesale distributor.

TWO:

We need volunteers to donate delicious treats for the bake sale that accompanies the pumpkin patch sale. 14th), Tuesday (Oct. 15th), or Wednesday (Oct. 16th).

Two-dozen homemade baked goods is also equal to (1) family service hour. Underwriting donations will be applied towards the Annual Giving Campaign.
