title sequence vs trailer
TRANSCRIPT
Title sequence vs Trailer.
By Jasmine Wilson.
Title Sequence.
A title sequence is a method which films or TV programs use to present their title, key production and cast members. Usually it would follow the opening credits which are nothing more than a series of superimposed text.
Trailer.
A trailer is an advertisement for a featured film that in the future will appear in a cinema. Trailers used to be played at the end of a film so that they would follow on, however people would leave before trailers were played. Therefore trailers started playing before the film to catch the audiences attention.
Difference between the two.
The difference between the two is that a title sequence is informing you what is in the film you’re watching through text. However a trailer shows you little snippets of the film to get you intrigued and wanting to see more.
