Participants

• At A Level– 2,580 providers– 241,036 students– 685,377 examination results

• At AS Level– 2,549 providers– 321,791 students– 1,180,304 examination results

• At BTEC– 1,594 providers– 125,306 students– 266,550 BTEC Nationals

What does ALPS do?

• Places a student into one of eleven prior achievement bands dependant upon points on entry

• Identifies the UCAS points per subject entry achieved by the top 25% in each achievement band – Target UCAS Points per subject

• Compares the actual UCAs points achieved by each student to the target UCAS points

What are the outputs?

• Provider Scores for each A Level AS Level and BTEC

• Provider Quality and Breadth Indicator• Quality of teaching and learning measure• T Score
