Title: walking scroll

2 Corinthians 3:3

3 clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink

but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets offlesh, that is, of the heart.

The Spirit, Not the Letter

Many times in the Bible, it mentions scroll and it means the Bible.

If so, then walking scroll means walking Bible.

The prophet Jeremiah prophesied that there will be walking scroll through

the new covenant.

Jeremiah 31:31-34,31Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, when I will

make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah32 not

according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day thatI took them

by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke,

though I was a husband to them,[a] says the LORD. 33 But this is the covenant that I

will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put My

law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they

shall be My people. 34 No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man

his brother, saying, Know the LORD, for they all shall know Me, from the least of

them to the greatest of them, says the LORD. For I will forgive their iniquity, and

their sin I will remember no more.

The new covenant which will be fulfilled in the end time is that by inscribing the

Word of God into the heart of man that God will be their God and they shall be

Gods people.

If that happens, then the whole world will know the living God and God will forgivetheir iniquity and their sin God will remember no more. Such blessed world will be

established.

How blessed is such world that our sins are forgiven which we must pay the price

with death and God will no longer remember our sin!

To establish such blessed world we must inscribe the Word of God into our heart

and if we inscribe Gods Word in our heart then we become walking Bible.

The Apostle Paul understood this and said we are the epistle of Christ written by the

Spirit of the living God, on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart.

2 Corinthians 3:3,3 clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us,written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets ofstone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart.

The Word of God is the letter of love that God sends out to all people in theworld and if this Word of God is inscribed on tablets of our heart then we

become an epistle of Christ.

1. Walking BibleIf the Word of God is inscribed on our body, then we become walkingscroll, the walking Bible.

Why should be become the walking Bible then?

Now, we all have the Bible that is made as a book, but in the time of

tribulation that is soon to come, we cannot obtain nor read the Biblewhich is made up as a book. If we do not want to lose the Word of Godeven during the time of tribulation, we must inscribe the Word of God on

tablets of our flesh, tablets of the heart.

Most certainly, God said there will come the time when we cannot obtainthe Word of God even if we seek the Word of God.

Amos 8:11-13,11 Behold,the days are coming, says the Lord GOD,

That I will send a famine on the land,Not a famine of bread,Nor a thirst for water,But of hearing the words of the LORD.

12 They shall wander from sea to sea,And from north to east;They shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the LORD,But shall not find it.

13 In that day the fair virgins

And strong young menShall faint from thirst.

This time when we cannot obtain the Word of God means the time of greattribulation for 7 years.

Daniel 9:27,27 Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week;But in the middle of the weekHe shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate,Even until the consummation, which is determined,Is poured out on the desolate.

During this 7 years of the great tribulation, for the latter 3 and a half years of greattribulation, there will be no sacrifice nor offering. If so, then how are we supposed

to seek the Word of God?

In preparation for such time, we must make our body the walking Bible.We, ourselves, must become the walking scroll.

That is exactly what the Apostle Paul was talking about the epistle of Christ.Also, the Word of God that prophesied this is Jeremiahs new covenant.

If the Word of God is inscribed on tablets of our flesh, of the heart, then our bodybecomes walking scroll and this process is restoring our original nature.

Think about the original world which God created for us.Do you think there was a book called Bible in the Garden of Eden?

Adam himself was the walking Bible.

There was no physical visible Bible existed in the Garden of Eden, but there wasinvisible walking Bible in the Garden of Eden.

It is same for the temple of God. The actual physical visible temple is not truetemple of God, but man who has the Spirit of God in him is the true temple of God.That is why the Apostle Paul said our body is the temple of God.

1 Corinthians 3:16,16 Do you not know that you are the temple of God and thatthe Spirit of God dwells in you?

1 Corinthians 6:19,19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the HolySpirit who isin you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?

It is also same for offering. Oxen and lambs or pigeons are not true offerings, butour body must become offering and offer to God as living sacrifice.

Romans 12:1,1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, thatyou present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is yourreasonable service.

Visible Bible or temple are all shadows and are not real things, the real thing is ourbody which is the temple of God and our body is walking Bible and our body isliving sacrifice and our body is the temple of God.

For there is no hope in the things which are seen, God said to put our hope in thethings which cannot be seen.

Romans 8:24-25,24 For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is nothope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? 25 But if we hope for what wedo not see, we eagerly wait for itwith perseverance.

Returning to our original state is what the saints of God must achieve.

2. Running Bible

God said to write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that one may run who

reads it.

Habakkuk 2:2,2 Then the LORD answered me and said:

Write the visionAnd make itplain on tablets,That he may run who reads it.

Shouldnt we get some kind of hint from this Scripture?If we are to write the vision and make it plain on tablets so that one who may runand reads it, then we should not inscribe it on wooden tablets, but we should

inscribe it on tablets of the heart.

Inscribing on tablets of the heart is in Chinese Characters and it has the same

meaning as inscribing on tablets of flesh, on tablets of the heart.

One more thing we must pay attention here, is that God mentions about runningswiftly.

Psalm 147:15,15 He sends out His command to the earth;

His word runs very swiftly.

If the Word of God is the Word of God that runs very swiftly, then we too must beable to run very swiftly in order to become running Bible.

That is why God is commanding that we should make it plain on tablets so that hemay run who reads it.

If so then, it is not good enough for us to become the walking Bible, but we mustbecome the running Bible.If we could only be so, we become suitable for the Word of God that runs veryswiftly.

The Word of God runs very swiftly and we must adjust our speed to the speed ofthe Word of God as we run.

People invented bicycles, automobiles and even airplanes in order to run and flyfaster.

First we walked, then we run then later we must be able to fly.We must become the walking Bible, then the running Bible then changed into flyingBible.

3. Flying Bible

Do you think there is such thing as flying Bible?The Prophet Zechariah said that there is flying scroll.

Zechariah 5:1-3,1 Then I turned and raised my eyes, and saw there a flying scroll.2And he said to me, What do you see?So I answered, I see a flying scroll. Its length is twenty cubits and its width tencubits.3Then he said to me, This is the curse that goes out over the face of the wholeearth: Every thief shall be expelled, according to this side ofthe scroll;and, Every

perjurer shall be expelled, according tothat side of it.

From these Scriptures we know that there is a flying scroll and in other words, it isthe flying Bible.

Walking scroll, running scroll and flying scroll; all these Word of God is talkingabout how we must make our body such Bible.

Each of us must become the walking scroll that one may walk who reads it and therunning scroll that one can read it as he runs and the flying scroll.

Why do you think God is commanding us to read the God s redemptive series 7times and even to memorize the contents of the books?As we read and memorize the Word of God we get to inscribe it on tablets of ourflesh, on tablets of the heart so that we must become walking Bible, running Bible,and flying Bible.

It is essential for the saints of God in the time of end that we should read, hear andmemorize the Word of God.Faith comes by hearing, the Scripture says. If we read before we hear the Word ofGod, it makes easier for us to hear. That is why reading is the preparation forhearing and hearing is preparation for memorizing.

If we do not memorize the Word of God then we cannot read it as we run.God said to inscribe on tablets of the heart and on tablets of flesh, and that meansto memorize the Word of God.

The Word of God youve already read once is reminded when you hear it again andit comes into your heart and that is why reading is preparation for hearing.

Those who have already read it once get to understand easily when they hear itonce again, saying, Aha~, this is the Word of God that Ive read before, but those

who do not read say, was there a such Word of God? And they doubt inside theirmind and cannot believe as easily.

Reading and hearing the Word of God is secret to receive blessings and it is secretto obtain eternal life.

Revelation 1:3,3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of thisprophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time isnear.

The purpose of our learning the Bible is to make our body the Bible.

It should not be that we are separated from the Bible that Bible and we standseparately, but our body must become the Bible so that we can read it as we run.

When I was studying Bible study 40-50 years ago, our Reverend said let us makeour body the Bible, let us become the walking Bible.

The Apostle Paul realized that our body must become the Bible and he said we arean epistle of Christ written on tablets of our flesh, the tablets of the heart.

If our body does not become the Bible, then the new covenant cannot be fulfilled.

As I was thinking that our body must become the Bible, God published the printedbook before us.If so, what is the meaning of this printed books?

We must become the book which the Word of God is inscribed on tablets of ourflesh, on tablets of the heart as it says in 2 Corinthians 3:3 and on the surface, thepublished books are for the Gentiles. That is how I felt when I saw these printedbooks before me.I accepted these books as the everlasting gospel of Christ which is to be spread toall nations and all people in the world.

Why is that? Because people do not come to hear when we urge them to come andhear the gospel. People do not want to come and learn when we urge them tocome and learn about the Word of God and now we have no way we can spread thisgospel to the end of the world yet this gospel must be spread to the end of theearth and therefore, now we have to publish the Word of God as books and spreadthese books to the end of the earth.

Revelation 10:1-3,1 I saw still another mighty angel coming down from heaven,clothed with a cloud. And a rainbow was on his head, his face was like the sun, andhis feet like pillars of fire. 2 He had a little book open in his hand. And he set his

right foot on the sea and his left footon the land,3

and cried with a loud voice, aswhen a lion roars. When he cried out, seven thunders uttered their voices.

When another mighty angel comes down from heaven, a little book open in hishand is supposed to be given to us and the hidden manna is supposed to be givento us. And therefore, these books are supposed to be published.

Printed and published books of Gods redemptive series are the books that are to begiven to all people in the world according to the will of God that wants to save allpeople and we ought to know already by the bible studies we studied 40-50 yearsago that we are the epistle of Christ which the Word of God is inscribed on tabletsof our heart.

Those of you who achieved the Scripture in 2 Corinthians 3:3 by one on onetraining have become the sons of Abraham and those of you who understood andaccepted the will of God through these books can also become the sons of Abraham.God has opened the way to become Abrahams sons for us.

That is like Jesus raised His disciples through His teaching for three years and afterJesus ascended into heaven, there were many saints of God who became fruits ofGod through the Holy Spirit.

Those of you who have already become the walking Bible, you should memorize thebooks more diligently so that you may become the running Bible and devoteyourselves even more until you become flying Bible.

Thus, reading, hearing and memorizing the Word of God is essential for the saintsof God who live in the time of end.

Flying Bible is the final of Gods history of redemption and it is transfiguration.Flying means the speed is very fast.We can call the Word of God that is being spread very swiftly the flying scroll.

Revelation 10:11,11 And he[d]said to me, You must prophesy again about manypeoples, nations, tongues, and kings.

We are to prophesy this little open book to many peoples and nations and amongthis work of prophesying there is walking, running and flying.

Those who have fulfilled the new covenant of God that inscribe the Word of God ontablets of flesh become the epistle of Christ, the walking Bible.

I hope you all become the epistle of Christ that is read by all peoples by the Spiritof God that inscribe the Word of God on tablets of our heart.

I thought about comparing the flying scroll which the prophet Zechariah mentionedand the everlasting gospel which the Apostle Paul mentioned.

Revelation 14:6,6 Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, havingthe everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earthto every nation,tribe, tongue, and people

Revelation 10:10-11,10Then I took the little book out of the angels hand and ate

it, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth. But when I had eaten it, my stomachbecame bitter. 11 And he[d]said to me, You must prophesy again about manypeoples, nations, tongues, and kings.

The everlasting gospel is the gospel to be preached to those who dwell on theearth- to every nation, tribe, tongue and people.And the Word of the little open book was to be prophesied again to many peoples,nations, tongues and kings. Arent these two the same?

Can you believe todays Word of God at face value?Faith is believing the Word of God unconditionally if it is the Word of God.Believing after giving some thought to it is not the whole faith.

When the children of Israel were coming out of Egypt, God commands them to setthat day as the first month of the first year.

Exodus 12:2,2This month shall be your beginning of months; it shall be the firstmonth of the year to you.

This was the work of making the new calendar and this time was around March 15th

according to solar calendar.Why do you think God gave them such command to make that day the first day ofthe first year?

That was because God wants to make them the children of obedience who obey theWord of God what so ever it is.

This means God wants them to have the faith that believe Gods Word no matterwhat, even God says bean is rice.This means we ought to believe the Word of God unconditionally putting away thethoughts of men.

Genesis 8:22,22While the earth remains,Seedtime and harvest,Cold and heat,Winter and summer,And day and nightShall not cease.

As we see this Scripture, as long as the earth remains, there will be seasons.In other words, seasons exist only when the earth remains.

If so, if the new heaven and the new earth is established there will be no seasons

and forever it is today.This is the world which will be accomplished with the second coming of Christ.

In order to enter the everlasting world of today, God said not to harden our heartsto the Word of God saying today.

Hebrews 4:6-7,6 Since therefore it remains that some mustenter it, and those towhom it was first preached did not enter because of disobedience, 7 again Hedesignates a certain day, saying in David, Today,after such a long time, as it hasbeen said:

Today, if you will hear His voice,Do not harden your hearts.

This Scripture is saying that if the children of Israel did not harden their hearts toGods command to make that day the day they came out of Egypt the first day ofthe first month, then they would have all entered the promised land of Canaan.

God said, there still remains the people who are to enter the everlasting Sabbath, ifwe do not harden our heart no matter what kind of Word of God God speaks, andsay Amen to the Word of God, then I believe we will all enter the everlasting today,the world of eternal Sabbath.

The world we are living in is not composed of only the visible physical world, but itis composed of the invisible spiritual world together with the physical world.These two worlds are coexisting together.

And therefore, when we confront an incident or opinion of someone, we should notconsider the surface only. That is foolish thing to do.If we are the wise ones, then we should consider the hidden meaning inside it.

If you believe that the surface world and the spiritual world coexist together thenyou should be able to recognize the walking scroll, running scroll and flying scroll

not as mere scrolls made of paper but as people.

The prophecy about Christ who is to come as the Messiah are prophesied in twodifferent ways and one is the Lord of glory and the other is the Lord of affliction.

Isaiah 52:13-15,13 Behold, My Servant shall deal prudently;He shall be exalted and extolled and be very high.

14 Just as many were astonished at you,So His visage was marred more than any man,

And His form more than the sons of men;15 So shall He sprinkle[b] many nations.

Kings shall shut their mouths at Him;For what had not been told them they shall see,And what they had not heard they shall consider.

Because Jesus first came and became the Lord of affliction the Christ who is comingagain becomes the Lord of glory.The second coming Christ becomes the Lord of the Scripture in Isaiah 9:6.

Isaiah 9:6, 6 For unto us a Child is born,Unto us a Son is given;And the government will be upon His shoulder.And His name will be calledWonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

2-3 months before our retreat in YoeJoo Korea, our Senior Reverend said that nowthe Scripture in Isaiah Chapter 60 is starting to be fulfilled and that means the workof the Lord of Glory is beginning.

Isaiah 60:1-3,1 Arise, shine;For your light has come!And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.

2 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth,And deep darkness the people;But the LORD will arise over you,And His glory will be seen upon you.

3 The Gentiles shall come to your light,And kings to the brightness of your rising.

The glory of the Lord is risen upon you; this means the second coming Christ iscoming as the Lord of glory.I hope you believe and understand such work has already begun.

For your light has come! This Word of God means the light in Genesis 3:1 has come.And it says the glory of the Lord is risen upon you and thus we ought to spread thisglory of the Lord which is risen upon us to the end of the earth.

If you are accepting this Word of God today, then our duty is to arise and shine thelight which has already come upon us.

I bless you with the name of the Lord you all become the flying scrolls who spreadthis light from the beginning and the glory of the Lord to all peoples, nations and tothe end of the earth.
