Training uses a ‘see one do one’ model that tells the participants how to do tasks. This lecture-based model disengages the learner.

Training is focused on out of date content based on postures, which the research literature has proven to be ineffective.

The trainer problem-solves the risks, rather than the staff. Staff members therefore aren’t involved in the solution and don’t transfer this knowledge to practice.
