Pick a topic that lends itself to a story line
List the learning objectives
Research online to ensure that resources are available appropriate for the topic and your students

Create introduction to the WebQuest

Make separate pages that contain the Task Procedure Evaluation
Ensure that all three are compatible and follow the story

The procedure should involve students using the internet for research
Students may also use print materials
Incorporate other computer programs as needed
Focus should be on using the computer

Create pages for other teachers that explain the task, procedure, and evaluation
Suggest resources, online and print, for other teachers to use
List and explain the objectives the WebQuest meets

Be careful of images with copyright

Add your own animations

Make sure the WebQuest fits your students; do not worry about other classes
Incorporate features such as Alternate Text to help students with disabilities
Although most of the procedure will be done on the computer, do not forget to review what was learned as a class
