tips on preventing cleanroom contamination
TRANSCRIPT
It is so important that any work environment is safe
and clean for your customers and your
employees. Whether you are in the food, medical or
the retail industry you need to create a policy for your cleanroom to prevent
contamination.
Make sure there is none of the following items in
the cleanroom:
FoodBeverages
SweetsPerfume Jewellery
You need to minimize contact with sterile
equipment and clean all work areas every day so it is easier for you to keep on top of things. You need to
make sure you have specific procedures for hand washing and also
make sure your employees are wearing the right appropriate clothing.
Keep any equipment in appropriate containers
and make sure everyone cleans up spills instantly
and they do not just leave it there. Dust all the
shelves, walls and ceiling to reduce the amount of dirt. Discard any gloves
that have been used that day and make sure a clean pair is worn for
each new day.
Do not hang things from the walls such as notes,
keep the area around you as spotless as you can.
Do not touch any part of your own skin or anyone
else’s when you have working gloves on. Do not scratch your head or wear any jewellery in the room as hairs can fall out and
small objects can fall from the jewellery.
