LBL (Light bladder leakage) is

common:

• After pregnancy

• With age

• With obesity

Exercising with LBL

Most new mums start to

exercise 8 weeks post

pregnancy, otherwise you can

begin at any time. There are

some exercises which can

trigger LBL.

Exercises to AVOID with LBL

• Jumping jacks

• Jogging

• Skipping

• Squats

• Lunges

• Heavy weight exercises

Exercises which are

less likely to cause LBL

• Walking

• Rowing

• Free weights (dumbbells) to work

the arms

• Calf raises

Will I ever get control of my bladder back?

After pregnancy your bladder control will gradually
