Consisting of 32 students from 13 middle and high schools, this senior ensemble performs regularly for many local community events and organizations. They participate in concert tours, both in North America and as far away as Panama and Japan. The group has performed at various large ukulele festivals and was the first school-aged ukulele ensemble to have ever played on the Disneyland stage. This year they are travelling to Hawaii for a 12 day tour covering two islands. While there the group will participate in the 15th Annual Great Waikoloa Ukulele Festival on March 7th. Every student in the Island Ukuleles Aensemble wishes to thank the advertisers shown below for their generous financial support of this trip.
