-Wales is invaded by him-they build castles along the borders

1135-1154-two crusades evolved (First & Second)

-Muslims had Jerusalem taken away for the second time

1199-1216-fourth crusade emerged-had a children’s crusade

-Magna Carta was eventually signed

-King Edward II is reigned-he later was confined but surprisingly escaped to

France with his wife; the Queen of England-the king was then forced to give up his throne

and pass it on to his son King Edward III

1327-1377

-King Edward III is reigned-Black Death in Asia occurred-he proceeded with no trial when he was condemned

-later hung at Tyburn in November

1377-1399

-added a new poll tax and they were furious about it and marched through

London to try and distinguish the new tax-Peasants revolted in England

-the group consisted of about 10,000 rebels which burned most of town

-Bible is translated into English by a man named John Wycliffe

Knights Templar Timeline 1065 - 1118

1065Jerusalem was taken

by the Turks - initiating the

crusades of the Middle Ages.

1099

Crusaders led by Godfrey of Bouillon took Jerusalem back

from the Turks. The founding

of the Knights Templar was initiated shortly after

this date by Bernard of Clairvaux
