on the major decisions of your life
How did I get here?

The Timeline ExerciseTake a blank piece of paper and create a chart like the one below.
Start by chronologically identifying the key events and transition points of your life using the bottom axis.
Then, using a 1-10 happiness scale (zero is very unhappy, 10 is very happy) identify how your major decisions and activities have impacted you.
All the ‘big’ decisions and activities of your life to date should be there, particularly the most enjoyable or difficult times, experiences and events.

The Timeline ExerciseOnce you have your happiness line, you could make notes about why you made the decisions you did and the results of that decision. I’ve included an example of my own below..
