Vacuum problems: L05 J17 I17 sprung a leak this week. Likely due to Gold beam striking the flange weld.

Changing (again) the way we do business with Gold in the AGS and Booster.

APEX is scheduled for tonight Tuesday 18 Dec 2007, beginning at 9:00PM finishing by 8:00AM tomorrow.

Maintenance Day follows APEX, with Injectors OFF at 7:00AM and beam restored to RHIC beginning at 4:00PM.

C-AD Holiday Open House tomorrow from 9:00-10:30.

Next maintenance day set for 2 Jan 2008, immediately preceded by an APEX shift.

Continue to push to improve delivered beam Decreasing Deuteron background in PHENIX. Decreasing ALL backgrounds in STAR.
