What is time? How many seconds are in a minute? How many minutes are in an hour? How many hours are in a day? How many days are in a week? How many weeks are in a year? How many weeks are in a school

year?

Where does the time go?

Why is time important? Some deadlines are legally required (your taxes are

always due on April 15th).

Missed deadlines can be expensive (late fees).

Employers have obligations to customers (store opens at

9:00 AM).

Tests have standard start times (ACT/SAT start at the

same time at all locations).

Games are forfeited if players are not there at game time.

School attendance laws require students to be on time to

class.

AssignmentUsing the table you created to list your daily activities, monitor your actual times and compare them to those that you estimated on your worksheet. At the end of the week, evaluate the results. Did you do a good job of planning your schedule? What could you have done better? What did you overestimate? How will you use the information from this activity to help you with time management in the future? Write a brief analysis of your planned versus actual week. Submit the report with your planned schedule and documented results.
