FADE INEXT. U.U.H.S. Capital City – MIDDAYStudents of the prestigious University in the capital city of the United Utopian Human

Society are gathered in the courtyard enjoying the day. Flashes of lightning appears to be manifesting from a point where a pair of naked, hairless, and translucent, perfectly formed human beings hover above the ground before the students. They are pulsating blue/green.

NARRATORThe students look in awe at the magnificent

creatures before them. Some are screaming in a panicked frenzy, some crying, and some deep in prayer. Albeit honestly, some to appear to be over reacting just a tad, while others would be considered severely under reacting. Nevertheless, none of their eyes are taken off of the beings before them.

One student sitting with two of his friends turns and stands with the rest of the crowd. Danny looks up and almost whispers his first words.

DANNYWhat are you?

The beings them ominously direct there attention to Danny’s location in the crowd, teleporting in front of him, hovering inches off the ground. Danny catches himself, raising a hand over his mouth, surprised by the words.

NARRATORDanny asked, almost accidently. An inadvertent

slip of the tongue. In a sense; word vomit.

THE BEINGS (always speaking in unison)We are such beings not confined by your

limited linear perception of time.

Danny and the other students look at each other in confusion.

NARRATORThere is an apparent air of disbelief. As if not

understanding the words of the beings. Despite their convenient ability to speak perfect English. Danny on the other hand looks somewhat annoyed with the response. Utterly confused to the point of sheer exhaustion.

Danny slightly, but suddenly whips his head back and raises is arms. Jutting his head forwards stressing the next word.

DANNYWhat?

THE BEINGThe past time, the present time, and the future

time: All are absolute. Time is absolute. Events cannot be altered. From your limited perspective; what is, has already been, and what will be, will come to pass. And for ones such as Us, all has that will, has already been.

Close-up of Danny thinking, head down, as he readies his next words.

NARRATORDanny is deep in thought, carefully

contemplating his next response. All eyes now turn to the one who is brave enough to address the visitors directly.

Danny dramatically looks up to the beings, about to verbalize his next thoughts to the creatures before them.

DANNYWhat do you mean?

NARRATOR“Sigh”

THE BEINGSTime is absolute. Events cannot be altered.

From your limited perspective; what is, has already been, and what will be, will come to pass. And for one such as Us, all has that will, has already been.

DANNYBut who are you?

There is a unified grown from the other students who are present. Views of the other students faces. Most are now angry and annoyed.

NARRATOR

Needless to say, this continues for a while. Yet the other students are simply far too afraid to speak up to the beings themselves.

Return to the view of the beings addressing Danny.

THE BEINGSWe are such beings not confined by your

limited linear perception of time.

DANNYBut what are you? Are you time travellers?

THE BEINGSWe are such beings not confined by your

limited linear perception of time. We can not travel through time. We are not affected by time in a linear fashion. We exist outside of your confined understanding of temporal activity.

DANNYIf time travel isn’t possible, then how are you

here now?

THE BEINGSWe are here because We exist. For our

existences to cross, it simply means you are at a point in your time where you are able to perceive Us. We are such beings not confined by your limited linear perception of time. We are not affected by time in a linear fashion. We exist outside of your confined understanding of temporal activity.

The students all look to each other trying to make sense of what was said. Murmuring between themselves.

NARRATORFinally! A slightly different response, only ever

so slightly different to the previous responses. Obviously this appears to rejuvenate the interest of the other students present.

DANNY

But what is significant about this point in time? What are you here to observe? Why are you here!?

Close up of the beings who appear to be quite angry and are begin to shimmer and steadily glow red. With tinges of lightning whipping over their bodies.

THE BEINGSWe are here to witness your END. And bear

witness to the next incarnation of humanity’s progression.

The sky darkens as dark clouds begin to roll in. All of the students in the courtyard begin to murmur louder, in an obvious panic about what is said. Some students also cautiously begin to run away. Gradually the entire crowd of students begin to run. However Danny stands defiantly before them.

DANNYAre you threatening us?! Huh?! We have known

peaces for hundreds of years. No time travelling aliens are gonna ruin this for us now.

The sky darkens as dark clouds begin to roll in. All of the students in the courtyard begin to murmur louder, I wind has started to pick up and it is as if a mini hurricane is emanating from the beings. But Danny stands his ground.

THE BEINGSWe can not travel through time! We are not

affected by time in a linear fashion! We exist outside of your con-

Danny is desperately shouting at the beings now, demanding answers

DANNYYes! We know! You exist outside of our confined

understanding of temporal activity. Blah, blah, blah! But what is going to happen to us! What happens to the human race! WHO ARE YOU?!

NARRATORDesperation reeks from his voice! Danny is

baiting the beings into a fight he cannot possibly hope to win! Demand answers to questions he cannot possibly hope to understand! Just finish him already!

The beings then seemingly simmer down and revert to their blue/green forms. The wind has stopped and the skies have cleared. The panicked people have stopped, trying to gauge whether they are safe or not.

NARRATORThe panicked populous’ terror appears to

subside as the world reverts to its usual pristine condition. Totally and unequivocally oblivious to the inevitable storm to precede the calm.

The beings then look at each other nod and look back to Danny, outstretches one of their arms each towards to Danny.

NARRATORDanny appears confused and angry for a few

seconds before the realisation crosses his dim-witted face. Farewell sweet prince. You will not be missed.

Brief close-up of the beings before they glow a deep red, emanating lighting bolts and an unbelievably bright light engulfs the screen totally.

EXT. SpaceThe hover in space, looking over where the Earth once was. They have

returned to their blue/green pulsating forms. A shared look of satisfaction is on their faces before they look at each other frowning.

THE BEINGSThat bloody kid! Nobody hears of word of this.

The beings then turn and fly off through a wormhole and disappear.

NARRATORAnd so all that was, comes to a very abrupt

end. The human race instantly rendered extinct, at the peak of their existence. The lesson to be learned from all of this is a simple one; don’t ask incessant nonsensical questions and keep your bloody mouth shut when in the presence of glowing ancient space gods decide to visit the planet after crossing the realms of space and time if you do not want absolute paradoxes and destruction to ensue.
