November 23-27, 2009: Tiger Woods is busted for cheating. The National Enquirer printed that “Woods has been having an affair” with a nightclub promoter from New York City, Rachel Uchitel.

The Fight

Stories about Woods and a fight with his wife flooded the airwaves and internet. A neighbor of Woods calls 911 reporting he had crashed his Cadillac.

Word Travels Fast

After only a few days in the media, the Woods scandal is everywhere. There is even a twitter devoted to following all the breaking news. It produced 44 tweets, but only draws in 86 followers.

TMZ Reports

TMZ reports Elin (his wife) had scratched Woods’s face in an argument and tried to flee in his vehicle. They also report they Elin attacked the SUV with a golf club as Woods tried to escape, again.

Public Apology

On live television, Woods publicly apologizes for the situation that is overloading all media outlets.

A December to Forget

Over the first 2 weeks of December 2010, 7 women come forward claiming to be a mistress to Woods. Some are paid large amounts of money and sell out their story.
